Hey guys, haven't posted in a while! Here's a WIP of a Saxton Hale model I've been working on. [t]https://puu.sh/u83me/1adbf28b60.png[/t] (click for big) Still lacks HWM flexes and some texture tweaks.
His arms don't seem to be as muscular as they should be.
Glad to see someone taking a go at another Saxton model, it's looking pretty good so far! I feel like valve wouldn't exactly be too keen paying someone who didn't create the item, regardless of them allowing it.
Yeah.... But it's the only option they have really cause they only have a pay pal and don't have the documents to get paid correctly so I will be just sending them the revenue over paypal

Thanks for the feedback guys! I've already started to buff him up more in the arms and abs, even though my intentions initially were to make him a bit more lean rather than a 1:1 copy from the comics. I'll post some progress pics soon!

I'll post some progress pics soon![/QUOTE] there's a lot of things to consider when adapting him from the comics into 3d for sure, and going more for a lean take is probably good, the one i did was going more for hulking so could def get away wiht something slimmer something id suggest when it comes to his anatomy though is starting out with the larger shapes and working yourself down towards detail, getting the sorta tapering look on the arms, legs and torso down first then blocking out the muscles that would affect his silhouette, and perhaps rely less on normals to define his muscles. In both the case of tf2 stylization and the type of build id assume he'd have I think the bulk should take a lot of priority over definition, more along the lines of a strongman build than a body builder one ring of fired is probably the most helpful when it comes to muscle refs, but id say the proportions, especially his big feet and head need to be adjusted to suit the game style

I'm not bothered by it. But, I'm considering adding rust to it because of the oranges bleeding into the metals.
