Hey guys, barely any character models were posted recently! My friend got an idea for a taunt. The word taunt is really stretching into new levels. A chess game with a single partner that would play through a set of moves and then they would get bored, annoyed or something like that. I don't know any chess rules so there's that. Neither of us also have no idea how to model or animate anything. The cycle of the taunt: 1. When starting, say an Engineer would start up the taunt. Table would appear from the ground with all of the chess... stuff. (Board, the pieces in the starting points, clock, notebooks?) Engineer would then start to look around to find a competitor, like in the RPS taunt. The chess taunt could also use some of the voice lines from RPS. 2. When a competitor would approach, lets say a Heavy comes up, they do some like, stretches and stuff before starting. Prepare for the game? 3. The chess game would start up and the starter of the taunt, in this case Engineer would do the first move. 4. They would play chess like normal, possibly 2-3 moves each and then it would end. 5. In the end, possibly in this case the Heavy would get riled up and flip the table with the pieces flying everywhere. Engineer poses for his victory or gets salty about Heavy screwing the game up. 6. All of the stuff would disappear and it ends. -Some classes could just wipe the table throwing the pieces everywhere -Some just shrug it off, like Scout could be like "This sucks!" and the taunt ends. -In some cases the game could actually end, like the Engineer would win with just the 3 moves. -Both will be standing during the whole taunt. If you're interested in bringing this into reality, it's all up for claiming. All suggestions are welcome.

I've recently finished a tf2 model and texture and tried it out in game. However I've constantly run into a problem which makes the gun shiny as the sun. I've tried to figure it out each time i've created a project but I have no idea which causes it to shine so much. You've obviously set it to factory new, when it should be set to well-worn ;)

Apparently the alpha channel didnt go into the vtf because i exported the texture as a jpeg and not a targa file when importing. I'm gonna upload this to gamebanana soon.

As much as I like the Wheelock, I gotta give my vote to the LeMat. I fuckin love that thing. Just a shame that whatever stats Valve could ever give it would inevitably never use the second barrel.

As for these would have to say is work on the textures to make them have a more pineapple look.

Tf2 takes place in late sixties but there are definitely anachronistic items ingame so the argument is a bit moot.
