Would it be unreasonable to have them say "Good Game" or "Great Match" or something along those lines as a show of good sportsmanship?
I'd probably buy the taunt flat out right off the bat if they went that direction.
Not entirely sure if this is the place to make a suggestion for unusual effects. But was hoping to toss this up if anyone is interested in making a new unusual effect for hats ( and possibly weapons ) based on one of the original TF logo from back in the day of QuakeWorld TF.

Minus the "Team Fortress" bit at the bottom.
The original logo was a little more simple, but I felt the little bit I updated would make it more attractive to look at. Not to mention that Team Fortress will be 20 years old this year on August 22.
I drew and vectored this sometime ago as a Spray for GameBanana and just happen to run a crossed it recently to toss it up as a suggestion.
It would probably be best as an orbiting logo ( like the TF2 logo is from the first unusual effect pact ) even on weapons.

It's not necessarily because it's an advantage (although it can be if you're able to hide behind corners, etc.) but the fact that you'd be paying for gameplay affecting content that someone who won't buy it can't do.
Like, last update, Valve made it so you're able to buy every single weapon for a class at once from the official store, to make it easier for new players to be able to own every weapon. It's something they still clearly care about. And the fact that they didn't make the Shred Alert a taunt kill shows they aren't going to accept one.

I haven't finished the transcripts yet for the new Comp lines, but there should be voicelines like that already recorded.

Its really not an advantage. Why do people think this? At most this will make someone killed by it go "oh ha that was a lucky shot" and move on. Its not game breaking and doesn't make one player unequal to another.

Well from seeing this argument come up twice now in a nutshell it's that most arguments against it are those that believe a paid taunt kill would be advantageous in a gameplay scenario.
As an example: (Class having a rather limited taunt kill with his weapons, suddenly has a new taunt kill which was paid for and apparently is better).
A lot of people use the "It's unfair because what if the player is obscured via a high cliff or a corner, and insta-kills a Medic"
Which honestly, if you're able to time a 6 second taunt kill it's mostly luck-based. There's really nothing advantageous about it at all, during the time the guy uses the taunt he could of killed his target + 2 other people.
Taunt kills are there for those "OMG I got him with it!" moments, I see no problem as long as the taunt in question isn't a ridiculously massive AoE.

Whether or not you agree with my reasoning, the fact that the Shred Alert was going to be a taunt kill, (and was changed quite late in its development based on its particle names and having a kill icon,) shows that they aren't going to add any taunt kills.
I guess if you made one to go with a weapon they might add it? But I doubt they'd accept a taunt that they'd have to put work into making a taunt kill.

Would this need a different model though?
I like the idea and maybe an arc could be worked into it (Like the swing sends it flying from one side of the 2fort balcony to the other) but I imagine anyone seeing a sticky bomb moving towards them is gonna react to it, more so if they cant see the taunting demo.
Stuff like this seems little but it would affect players much more than an actual tauntkill on an unaware victim. Maybe the jumpers model would better communicate that its an inoffensive blast.
[B]EDIT:[/B] Just noticed that the concept art suggested a tiny end swing instead of a full blown opening swing like I thought for some reason. The former seems more suited to a tauntkill while the latter seems more taunt like in the sense that its what your enemy will see on the killcam and anyone else around for that matter.

but the execution taunt is tied to the scorch shot; this taunt could presumably be used with shields equipped. otherwise it would need to be assigned to a sticky launcher weapon or be a weird taunt that can only be used with certain weapons.
So i were updating my older models and as usual bit off more than i could chew, resulting in a ton of models and no time to texture any. I were wondering if anyone here wanted to texture this little fella here. it's called the Tempest (yes, after the R&C weapon), and it's simply a sawed-off o/u shotgun. I've tested it and it works perfectly with the FaN animations.

Yes, i've noted that myself as well. i'll see if i can do something about it, even though expanding the lower barrel will probably make the rest of the gun too thin. Fitting a completely different type of shotty to work with FaN skeleton was not an easy feat (to me at least), and it is already missing some critical mechanism parts.
* edit * yep, tried it out in blender, there really ain't too much to widen it. But thanks for the critique anyway, i shall try and fix dat cheapo barrel

But in all seriousness, we could use more maps that take place in Europe despite TF2 lore being based more in USA.
The workshop comments for this are already depressing AF. There's always been people who comment on workshop stuff and pretend to be authorities on what gets in and what doesn't, but it's like these in particular are completely lacking in self awareness.
Ah, well, you already know how I feel about the map. Looks great, and hoping to try it out on the tf2maps server this week. :D

I dont mean to sound like a jerk but that concept is a mess. I'd recommend drawing over the hlmv models that the emporium pack has inside it and spend a lot more time making the concept easier to read.
