Also, would barrel sights really be useful on a weapon like this? They are a nice detail and keep the barrels from looking bland but don't seem to be very useful.
Making progress on my Heavy set: I re-purposed a Pyro mask that I started and never finished, and I plan to merge it with the helmet/harness once I make it less bland [t]http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/73af4f30517903130d096dffd15d4063.jpg[/t] I'll also likely be changing the shape of the helmet itself to better accommodate the mask and to better fit the theme.

The gun is based on a lewis gun which does the same kind of movement between every single shot. Its very fascinating to watch the sentry gun shooting ingame. It also represent the missing bullet chain of its original lvl 2 Sentry which does also have a moving animation. [vid]http://i.imgur.com/7LvdZmO.mp4[/vid] I hope you guys like the changes

Mostly because I feel the LED sentry definitely looks much less unique compared to the stock, whereas this is really something new
Right now I'd give it more praise than the LED sentry because it has custom animations that are made from the ground-up and look beautiful.
Well, there is another very well done custom sentry from a few years back, being the LucyCharm building pack. Made back in 2010, surprisingly.

Also the entire design, with the fan of metal in front, just looks a bit out of place. Almost looks Combine. The level 3 design with metal jutting out the back, lined with indents and red lights, seems a bit weird.

They could always just find a way to put the sentry in, give it a custom PDA and put it as one of the rarest items in a crate (because we all know they'd do that.) And probably break Sentries in the process, such as making them not turn or turning them invisible or something, since that's how Valve goes.

I don't really see it being all that hard for whoever makes the sentry replacement/Valve to make that work.

The best thing a new PDA could do is allow you to build a new dispenser, this way it wouldn't conflict with the gunslinger. A differently functioning dispenser isn't the kind of thing the enemy needs to know you can build at a glance.
So I'm back to working on this Komusō Medic set and I need some pointers about the coat. The normals are very underwhelming, not really having many visual folds and the AO that comes from them makes it look pretty flat

I take it the disagrees are because of the pattern? Because if the suggestion I've made is too noisy, then I can understand how it wouldn't work.
If you want to do a pattern like that, make the colours more homogenous, so they blend in from a distance and don't look too noisy. Look at something like the Paisley Pro or the Hunter Heavy to see how they deal with patterns.

Hello, recently joined Facepunch so I am new to this stuff. Anyway, I decided to fix a very old mod for spy ([url]http://gamebanana.com/skins/80383[/url]). So far I have been successful but there is this one issue that is stopping my progress. When the draw animation or fire animation is finished playing, the weapon slides to the center of the screen for a second. I have no idea what is causing this.
