That's definitely going to need some good normals to make it look really good, not having them would be a shame. That's what made Tabby's concept so much better than any other long pant concepts. Plus with the normals you get a good AO and Light Map, which makes the texture just some base color, noise, and a gradient.

Also, I guess a question. There's a misc item for medic in the game I love, but it erks me that it clips pretty heavily with his glooves. Would it be unreasonable to request the person who submitted it if he has the time to fix it if possible? I don't know if it's even possible since I don't make cosmetics, but I thought I'd at least ask it here to get some information...

it is "slicked back" in the sense that all the hair is being pulled back into the tail, the loose hair just escaped the knot
and the slicked back ponytail would just be boring

it's just that way so its neutral state isnt clipping into the collar or his back, the jigglebones will weigh it down and make it move.
if it was down by default the jigglebones would constantly clip into his back. I did the same thing for the vega hair
