you were very constructive actually, but i think that was partially a symptom of me not showing it very close up in the HLMV previews... it also wouldve been helpful when i showed the full finished texture before release...

I'd change the coloring to be a little bit darker or more faded, perhaps a color like the holstered heaters' harness?

i prefer to decide on a very solid default design at first, and later if it gets accepted, submit a style.

I don't like making styles a selling point, I generally would prefer to save them for a post-acceptance bonus if at all. the only time I'd argue this isnt true is in cases where there's a definite need for two styles, like the two paint styles on a well wrapped hat. it would have made no sense to have one paint style without the other imho
