Putting a metal can on the end of a barrel would just amplify the sound, most likely.

Just place it in tf/particles. Dx80 will only be used in dx8 mode though, you might want to rename it to soldier_buff.pcf.

Hi, I want to know how to make class_classnamehere_cloak.vtf file. I want to make custom HUD portraits but I just can't figure out how to do it properly and when I try to cloak in game, my portrait goes black with team colored outline only. Probably it is posted somewhere here on FP, but seriously, I tried to search for it and there is just too many threads :/ I appereciate any help, even simple hints. Thanks in advance ;)
It still looks more like a secondary weapon to me. Might be because somethings look a bit large at the tip, or because I haven't seen the original flamethrower side-by-side.

Well you don't just replace the cloak one. You have to replace the normal, the dudv, the tints, and halfcloak files. How to remake all of those, I haven't a clue. But some people do that just aren't on atm.
And the image going all black means you don't have any alpha on the image.

I held it next to the original shotgun, that's why there's the bend.

I replaced the rest of the files with my self-made ones, and I have to replace cloak.vtf as well because default one doesn't match my custom portrait. I didn't make halfcloak.vtf because it wasn't included in custom HUD which I have downloaded and which was my base ;]
