anyways the point is just because other people don't like it doesn't mean you can't, so one shouldn't stop themselves from creating something and showing it off just because you don't enjoy it like they do; the hard work and effort they put into creating that thing should be what you rate artistic, not the content of which that hard work was put into creating.
and secondly, stop making shitty reskins my GOD
that aperture science turret or whatever, it's bland as hell
you took away all of the color that made it cool and great, and plastered on a logo - without even bothering to modify it to look faded or peeled or chipped or anything. i'd give a more elaborative explanation of how i feel about this reskin but it would probably get me banned - so i'll make it a little nicer for you
give it a bit more color so it's less of a 2 color scheme with a tiny bit of team thrown in there, aperture science isn't entirely clean and sanitary; they have massive color variation outside of the test chambers, which are really the only spots you see all the clean whiteness - there's far more to aperture than the chambers, though. secondly, make the logo look a little less like the engineer decided to take out his finetipped paintbrush and dab on a beautiful logo made of the purest sparkling paint, and more like that turret's been sitting in the goddamn toolbox for a couple of years now and it's starting to chip off

take your scout ma model
rename all the files to scout.blah eg scout.mdl
open the mdl in xvi32
change every instance of the orignal name to scout
put all the files in tf/models/player
nb you may need to change some path information
all this assumes that the skeleton is named the same as the scout's
