Unwrapped the medigun so it's ready for texturing. The UV screwed up half way through and was a nightmare to fix. I firmly believe the model is cursed now as the triangle count ended up exactly 6660 which kinda explains the problems and grief I had with it. :p [img]http://i51.tinypic.com/2j2xrbl.jpg[/img] Not sure on the vent bits on the side yet. Was testing some ideas with a normal map but I'll see if it works out when it has some more texture detail.

so here is what Jzeeba and i have been working on, still debating on skins it's hard to find the right brush style that isnt photoshop, best i could get was 65% hardness on gimp the model is before the changes in the skin im posting. That gold is very yellow
JTeeba said he would work on the smoothing errors after while i did the texture. i guess i could change the yellow, but the romans were very big on vibrant colors and i took that gold from the tf2 color pallet. also in terms of the car minigun i was planning on doing a pack for the scout based on fast cars since he probably like his cars fast as well i even did a quick design of his scattergun replacement called the Speed Demon [img_thumb]http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/5718/speeddemon.png[/img_thumb] i had plans to do a secondary which was a pistol made fom a sparkplug and a melee either bieng torn out 8-ball gearshift, engine piston, or a tire iron with his hat being modeled off of Speed Racer's Helmet, but then Jteeba offered to work on my model and i lost track.
anyone interested in a cross bow for Sniper? I had good idea for one, and it maintains it's TF2iness.

Would it be possible to recompile the vanilla butterfly knife as a kunai skin? I dislike how the kunai looks, but I love it as a weapon. I'm not sure if animations would make this impossible though.

If that ends up being the case, those vents would go great with the recoil and a firing sound with compressed air noises.
