Ah, thanks. Where do I put a .ttf file to use it in Paint.NET?
Install it with Windows and it should be on font selection menu.
Ah, thanks. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/zVrCT.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/6rWrY.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/XWSlD.jpg[/img_thumb] Release?
Space? Space? SPAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!
It's better without the text. Also, Space Core would be brilliance.
One mooooore thing. You're using DXT1 for the skins. While this lets you use UnlitGeneric to get the flat "Cel-Shaded" look for these skins, it doesn't allow for the Spy's cloak shimmer effect to be seen - players will pop in and out of existence if bumped into if they're a Spy who is cloaked. Solution: Switch from UnlitGeneric to VertexLitGeneric, and save the VTFs themselves as Full DXT5 textures (Both the Normal Format and Alpha Format). This will achieve the cel-shaded flat color effect you want for these skin packs, as well as allowing the cloak shimmer effect to remain.
It works! Thanks :buddy:
I for one would be totally OK with giving the demoman 4 colors if it means he's not white anymore.

What's this look like without the lighting change?
Where's Nassimo with those orgasmic HUD icons?
Where's Nassimo with those orgasmic HUD icons?
I stoped working on it since i'm making the loading screens
Due to all of the drama that has been going on here, I had a thought, hey, why not make it a drama-Theatre related pack? So, I wanted to model the gun that was used by John Booth in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, which as we all know, happened in Fords Theatre, so I didn't get in the link itself but some lines on google mentioned a British bulldog, so I got to work on that one, and got up to this point [img_thumb]http://i56.tinypic.com/25jz9j9.jpg[/img_thumb](Those things attached to the side are WIP of the common theatre binoculars, I thought that would make the idea more clear) But then I started reading into it, and it appears that the gun used at the assassination was a Philadelphia derringer! "Shit!" I said, then followed by an "Oh well, lets make the derringer then", well, once again, it appears that the philadelphia derringer is a tiny fucking one shot ammo-less black powder gun, I thought about modifying it to fit the deafult animations by adding a small pocket for the powder, or even making the gun barrel rotate down to reload. tl;dr: YES! NO! ok! NO! And my question is to you- what do?
is that for the scout and engi?
Ah, thanks. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/zVrCT.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/6rWrY.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/XWSlD.jpg[/img_thumb] Release?
Make the particles itself white on that thing, you can do it in the built-in particle editor. Just include -tools in the startup options, there you can make it white. Now does anyone know how I can extract Portal 2 .vtf files so I can work on the Sandman space core ball?
I know that, but when I try to import them into 3ds max it's all fucked up 'n stuff.
Use GCFScape and open the last Portal 2 .vpk file, I think.
where is that located?
Yes it's possible, animated .vtf's are the entire picture so just have the part you want animated animate and the rest not
I'm gonna scrap this one aswell God damn it John Booth couldn't you have used a more creative weapon
Does the NES pack comes with the lighting change by default?
I'm gonna scrap this one aswell [img_thumb]http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3106/ingbooth.jpg[/img_thumb] God damn it John Booth couldn't you have used a more creative weapon
DO NOT SCRAP IT
DO NOT SCRAP IT
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT SCRAPPING IT DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT NOT SCRAPPING IT
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT SCRAPPING IT DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT NOT SCRAPPING IT
:psyboom:
DO NOT SCRAP IT
Uh oh, this is the part where he scraps it.
Does the NES pack comes with the lighting change by default?
Thankfully yes
Where should I upload files so others can download them?
Where people can upload to Garry's Mod files so I can download 'em?
DO NOT SCRAP IT
It looks really clumsy and sloppy and the deafult animations wouldn't work with it(I think, I thought about rotating the bullet thingy joint so that it would rotate front-wards instead of to the side)
Where people can upload to Garry's Mod files so I can download 'em?
The Garry's Mod Section?
Recurracy, what do I change from there?
Look for item_fx.pcf. Should be in there. Once you've found the Bonk! particles (or in your case Moon shot!), look for the Initializers tab. Select color random and make it white. [editline]28th April 2011[/editline] Or, y'know, send the vtf to me so I can make a nice particle effect from scratch. I don't think the default Bonk pcf would look nice with Moon shot!
Where people can upload to Garry's Mod files so I can download 'em?
If you're interested in just porting everything to garry's mod then go to the garry's mod section. (It seems to be the only thing you ever ask for.)
It looks really clumsy and sloppy and the deafult animations wouldn't work with it(I think, I thought about rotating the bullet thingy joint so that it would rotate front-wards instead of to the side)
You could lower it a bit so he puts the bullet clearly in but meh
Sure. Though how would I send it to you?
zip the .vmf and .vmt, upload to filesmelt, give me link
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT SCRAPPING IT DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT NOT SCRAPPING IT
False. Yeah, I choose false as answer.
False. Yeah, I choose false as answer.
No, see what he has to is isAAAARRARARRRRRGGGHHH!!!
I'm gonna scrap this one aswell [img_thumb]http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3106/ingbooth.jpg[/img_thumb] God damn it John Booth couldn't you have used a more creative weapon
barrel needs more vertices, it just looks like an octagon. It also needs the flintlock mechanism's details on the right side of the gun (on the gold part that is), or where the flaregun's hammer is so it'd make sense.
I'm gonna scrap this one aswell [img_thumb]http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3106/ingbooth.jpg[/img_thumb] God damn it John Booth couldn't you have used a more creative weapon
Reminded me of this
