it seems that every time i make a raffle that takes a teeny amount of effort (1 weapon fee, draw an avatar that doesnt even have to look good) people tend to not do them, but when i make one that requires nothing but a post, people flock to it. sorry thread, but i think i'll give my hats to someone who wants and needs the hats enough to earn them.

Use polycount hats to understand, the power that's inside!
Items required:
Cleansing Gift Wrap.
Quest Reward(Pick 1 of the following):
Cursed Milkman (+5 style, +25 Stamina).
Cursed Grenadier's Softcap (+20% Steamturret Resistance, Equip to see the world).
Cursed Familiar Fez (Silence when leaving the shadows, entering the shadows take slightly longer).

This is a FREE hats and items thread. Raffles with entry fees (no matter how inexpensive) do NOT belong here.
It's also easier to enter a raffle when you don't have to launch TF2 and trade someone. Some people CAN'T enter your raffle because they can't launch TF2 to trade you stuff (because they're at work or their computer can't launch TF2 or doesn't have it or steam on it, for example).

I think the main reason that this stops people from entering is that it's a hassle. Some people may not even know how to draw up the image and then upload and post it here. Others might think that they don't have enough time to make and upload an image before you draw the raffle.

Again, some people might not be able to trade you or make an avatar and upload it. Others may find it too much of a hassle.
As a general universal rule, the easier it is, the more people will participate in it.

But seriously. Expecting exactly the same audience between a raffle that requires the participants to click a couple times and type a few words and a raffle that requires the participants to draw an image, save it, upload it, and post it is just illogical. Of course it's going to be less popular and of course people will take longer to participate. That's just the way it works. You can't expect otherwise.
