Open up dxsupport.cfg in Source SDK Bin folder. Find your video card in the list (If you can't, go to the bottom and find either Nvidia Unknown or ATi Unknown.)
and add (or change if it exsists)
"ConVar.mat_antialias" "8"
save it and enjoy AA in hlmv.

It also works for other cvars/commands.

Alright, after about seven minutes of thinking, I realized that joining and almost instantly asking for something doesn't leave a good impression.
Now for my question:
Are there any FREE programs that would let me pull this off? I don't have the money to afford any programs such as Fireworks or Photoshop, so those are out of the question, unless I can get a trial that will let me. I think I know HOW I'd be able to do it, but if I can't figure it out, would someone help me?

Standard path is C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\<Account Name>\Source SDK\bin\orangebox\bin\
if you don't own The Orange Box (TF2, Ep2, Portal) but you own Episode 1 games (Or you just want it in episode one games.) then change the orangebox\bin\ part for ep1\bin\
If you're still having issues locating the file, I've uploaded it [url=http://www.mediafire.com/?kktznnmyzwx]here[/url]. Place it in that directory and modify it (It's already modified for an HD 4870.)
