Already did that awhile ago. There's 9 trigger_multiples (those things that trigger stuff like opening doors) in the tv room that all have strange names.
https://imgur.com/gallery/jlSUCWU/ Posting just so people can see. No clue what the names represent. Maybe it's the names of the passtime devs?
the thing about Valve is that I really doubt they'll even see the backslash towards Casual Play or the update as a whole, and if they do it'll take months to get anything fixed, without any acknowledgment or warning whatsoever. It's hard to keep your hopes up.
I love how people said before this thread , they can't wait for the dissapointment in this update from the people. :v:
I still can't see the good in making the heavy more vulnerable and giving the pyro the ability to fuck over getting healed, especially after the quick-fix got a needed nerf.
One more question: Would you classify any weapon that was previously useless as being good now? The Bingo depends on it.
I'm honestly baffled, how do you fuck up so much in one update? - Removing the "Create a Server" button - Turning quickplay into Casual, basically meaning either playing on servers with shitty "features" like being banned from Casual play for leaving or trying to dredge through the slop that is community servers for something that won't piss you off or pose a security risk. - Addressing virtually none of the Tough Break balance complaints. - Nerfing weapons that needed a buff. - Nerfing weapons that didn't need adjusting. - Item servers/valve servers down for many multiple hours after the update hits. If they don't at least add valve servers back into the server browser, I'm seriously considering quitting TF2. I just want to have some mindless fun sometimes, not have to deal with being stuck on whatever team the die rolls on a map I didn't want, with consequences for leaving said pile of aggravations, and the alternative being composed mostly of cancer or security risks.
Added the Perfect Stranger crate
I don't think there's been any drops yet?
How is this better than pushing the button that says "Payload" picking the map I want and getting into a game near instantly?
Well you can find the map you want most out of the closest ones with low ping and high playercount. Sometimes it's better to choose the server with 23 players, 22 ping, and your second favorite map, instead of the one with 87 ping, 15 players, and your favorite map. I like being able to find the the server that's got the best balance of map, playercount, and ping, which you can't really do as well with quickplay. Though I can see why you'd want quickplay instead.
Still puzzled as to how I'm the only one with items while in servers, yet I can't connect to the loadout server.
I still can't see the good in making the heavy more vulnerable and giving the pyro the ability to fuck over getting healed, especially after the quick-fix got a needed nerf.
Maybe after the WAR he will have more firepower? Becoming less of a defense class and more of a attack class, just a guess
One more question: Would you classify any weapon that was previously useless as being good now? The Bingo depends on it.
Maybe manmelter?
One more question: Would you classify any weapon that was previously useless as being good now?
hard to say with item server cancer. But I'd wager mannmelter will be more popular. Fast projectile speed = easier hits and now it reloads a hell ton faster. It's the new scorch :v: But no, nothing "useless" actually got good after this, apparently
man I wasnt expecting anything from this update and I still got disappointed incredible
One more question: Would you classify any weapon that was previously useless as being good now? The Bingo depends on it.
Actually, depending on how it plays out, Eureka could conceivably be good, and that was pretty garbage before.
... How do they do it? How do they, after nine goddamn years, continually fuck up EVERY release of a major update? It's amazing. It really is. I am really salty right now. It's been three hours and all I want to do is play the game and spend some of the few dollars I do have on a game whose developers continually say "fuck off" to all attempts by its loyal community to improve the game, or even offer suggestions. It is ridiculous, and I worry greatly that TF2 will die if VALVe continues its present course. Edited: ...and the second I post this, the game now works. Fucking brilliant.
edit: seems like they're back
I don't know man, that spy buff was pretty good.
it's kind of overboard to claim spy is "useless". Situational is a better word.
I think if the update didn't remove Quickplay and have over 2 hours of entire-gamewide downtime this would go down in history as one of the best updates in the past while.
I don't know man, that spy buff was pretty good.
Yeah, because fuck heavys even more, am I right?
With no campaign pass that means Valve outright bought Sunshine, Metalworks and Swiftwater instead of paying for the maps with the campaign pass sales. I wonder what the future of campaign passes will be.
I don't know man, that spy buff was pretty good.
Yeah the spy can get in everyone backs, excluding the scout
Servers are back up!
One more question: Would you classify any weapon that was previously useless as being good now? The Bingo depends on it.
Eureka Effect would be the closest.
Is everyone forgetting that Spy won't be moving any faster unless he specifically disguises as a Scout or Medic or is actively cloaked? He'll slow himself down for every other disguise. Really what should have changed is his movement speed while cloaked, but giving him some base movement for when he's in the middle of a chain or when gunning to defend himself I guess tackles that problem too.
It was a joke people ;~;
I'm giddy with all of how this looks. I love how they're making it more similar to overwatch's casual play, and indirectly promoting community servers for drop in and out play.
Wow valve, how do you expect me to play this game now??? You say I can't breeze through quickplay servers as I want until I find one that has decent team so we can stomp enemy team? What the hell? And I can't leave as I wish even though I just joined, leaving my team with player disadvantage (but who cares about those losers, it's all about my enjoyment!) Now in order to do that I have to use that ugly old server browser that has all those useful map filters and favorite tab??? Holy hell, valve are truly outdone themselves now, worst update ever.
finally we can actually test now

That's just having other people play for you.
