MM is good now, 2 minutes max and you're in a server
2 mins max? Lol? I'm waiting for now 30 mins.
I'm waiting for 20 minutes straight Best update ever :v:
It looks like the GC went down. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Fx94BFJ.png[/t] I just want to actually play :v:
I can also get the achievement index, and look in server code for you guys.
just got back home, what's the first day consensus of the new update?
I was never able to get into a casual server due to the ridiculous wait times.
You know I just realized they said the winner of the War will get a future class update. Originally I read that as "it'll come out a few weeks after this one" but now I think it's gonna be several months before we get it and now I'm kinda bummed.
Still being Matched to fucking dubai servers though
Only strange cosmetic parts can be applied to hats, so i'd wager it's a glitch.
No no no, ALL strange parts can be applied to cosmetics now. It has been that way for many many months.
After a couple of tries, I did get matched in a server after a coulle minutes though the other people said that they waited a half-hour.
I got a 10MB update. Anyone else got one? What'd it change?
I wonder why the heck they made the new crate have a bunch of stranges instead of strangifiers. It's ridiculous.
First thing, this GC needs to stahp, it feels like GladOS running aperture science while still working on a potato battery, it's the most unstable I've ever seen, it has to be fixed Also, even though this update has changed everything, it still didn't add much if you think about it, I feel they've got more for us
Found out something neat, if useless. If you click on the floating logo beside your XP bar it'll do some special animations.
I wonder why the heck they made the new crate have a bunch of stranges instead of strangifiers. It's ridiculous.
I dont see the problem with regular premade stranges - thats how they used to do it. Genuine question, Why do people prefer strangifiers?
Valve, where is my Strange Freedom Staff? They added more or less every weapon to the crate but the Freedom staff
Found out something neat, if useless. If you click on the floating logo beside your XP bar it'll do some special animations.
What do you think we've been doing for the past 8 hours. Playing?
Valve, where is my Strange Freedom Staff? They added more or less every weapon to the crate but the Freedom staff
Black Rose too? :v:
I dont see the problem with regular premade stranges - thats how they used to do it. Genuine question, Why do people prefer strangifiers?
Because technically these have never had a strange version previously so some people likely have spec/prof killstreak versions and are upset that they cannot just apply the strangifier to the weapon. I do agree though that strangifiers would've been a better method of distributing these.
I dont see the problem with regular premade stranges - thats how they used to do it. Genuine question, Why do people prefer strangifiers?
So if people have let's say a Pro KS weapon in a normal/vintage/ect. form they can apply the Strangifier to said Pro KS weapon instead of having to buy another Pro KS kit for said weapon. That's the problem i'm having right now and the fact they have Stranges instead of strangifiers really annoys me.
I wonder why the heck they made the new crate have a bunch of stranges instead of strangifiers. It's ridiculous.
Same here. Now people with Pro KS Iron Bombers will have to get another Iron Bomber instead of making their current one strange
I wonder why the heck they made the new crate have a bunch of stranges instead of strangifiers. It's ridiculous.
Strange crates are more profitable
As a Redditor with nothing better to do, I looked up some of the words. Don't know if these are the intended meanings for us to find, but they're what I found. Finear is a word often associated with looking more beautiful than somebody else. Donked (or donk) has multiple definitions, from australian slang for a car's engine to a fool. Irlenous can be related to Irlen syndrome, a condition relating to the interaction with light of the central nervous system and the eyes at a physiological level. Only thing I could find for Subcla is stuff related to the Subclavian artery/vein. Memagold has something to do with watches from what I found. Couldn't find meanings for Amment, enempose, unissubs, or cowmillow. Amment, enempose, and unissubs had stuff for something in a different language, so they may mean something. Most likely anagrams like you said. Lot's of this may be dumb useless grasping at straws, but thought it was cool that some of them actually related to something at least.
Maybe the words give a clue about what class should be placed where. If memagold has something to do with watches, it might be hinting Spy, Irlenous for Demo since he doesn't have a right eye and so on.
What do you think we've been doing for the past 8 hours. Playing?
Seemed more like whining about an "underwhelming" patch to me.
so did b4nny lie or are the "major core class balances" coming tomorrow? did they say when the wars going to end or are we left in the dark here?
My probably late speculation on the TV ARG thing. Other thoughts: What is the ad advertising behind the scribbles and TV picture? X'd out numbers on the side above the spider? Are the three i-shaped drawn candles on the page locations of the candles within the room? Hinting at WHICH candles we need to do something with?
To add on something to my original post about the meanings of the names of the triggers in the secret room (amment, finear, donked, irlenous, enempose, unissubs, subcla, cowmillow, memagold) and the idea of certain classes standing on certain stains, a reddit user by the name of Hunkyy suggested that: Finear, a word often associated with looking more beautiful than somebody else, could represent Scout (obvious reasons). Donked, multiple definitions, from australian slang for a car's engine to a fool, could represent either Sniper or Demo (Sniper because Australia, or maybe Demo because of the relation to "Donk" with the loose cannon). Irleneous, possibly related to Irlen syndrome, look it up if you wish, could represent Pyro (Pyrovision relation with eye syndrome). Subcla, possibly related to Subclavian artery/vein, could represent Medic (artery/vein related to medical stuff). Memagold, possibly related to watches, may represent Spy (watches related to Spy's cloaking watches). lolvcrtape also suggested Irlenous may connected to the Demo, because of them being related to eyes. Sorry if this post was a mess, just wanted to get some speculation out there, maybe an idea or two.
So wait, the new cases basically make it so EVERY item that you can get from them can be strange, right? Remind me again WHY we can't market normal cosmetics?
So wait, the new cases basically make it so EVERY item that you can get from them can be strange, right? Remind me again WHY we can't market normal cosmetics?
No, it's just an array of stranges that previously didn't exist and some strange parts.
So, what don't we know about the TV achievement exactly?
So, what don't we know about the TV achievement exactly?
How to achieve it. We've gotten quite a bit of stuff on it already, but we don't know where to go from here or how close we are to actually finishing it.
