I'm glad casual mode is as broken as it is. Community servers finally get some players again.
Further thought Can someone find out if the knobs on the TV model can be turned? Or if the antenna can be bent? Like does it have an animation or submodel, skin or whatever that would enable either to be altered in-game if certain conditions were met? I'm blindly guessing nine people have to stand around the room on those stains and do certain things or equip certain items and complete a "ritual" of some kind. Maybe halloween mode has to be activated?

Are we trying to change to channel 777 to watch the PASS TIME event on the TV guide page? All I can do is randomly speculate right now so nothing I can think to do of has any rational reasoning behind it. Things like: equipping level 7 items. Having certain halloween spells equipped because there are spell potion bottles on the table.
What I played a casual match and got no exp
I've been on a server just now where people tried to place themselves on the stains to recreate the meet the team poster.
Are we trying to change to channel 777 to watch the PASS TIME event on the TV guide page?
Most likely. It'll probably be the end result or something.
I feel bad for Bad Robot and Escalation. I really enjoyed Pass Time during its beta and can't play the finished version due to matchmaking issues. It's very well put together by a bunch of dedicated devs who really took feedback to improve the gamemode, and genuinely seem like great developers. They should have had their own min-content update for PASSTime a month ago rather than have it tacked onto this update as it's going to get overlooked and unplayed due to matchmaking.
There is scoreboard at the top now, like in MM 30 minutes of waiting and my first map is ctf_2fort, god hates me Also it seems you don't get exp for losing?
I'm glad casual mode is as broken as it is. Community servers finally get some players again.
I like that about it. What I don't like is a casual mode rank. It basically turns it into a psuedo-Competitive where you can't efford to be relaxed for fear that your rank will go down.
The 9 stain triggers have no input, nor output. I don't see a way that they work.
The 9 stain triggers have no input, nor output. I don't see a way that they work.
Perhaps they'll add more to it in an upcoming update? Could be possible, but with the achievement already being out and the supposed achievement item for it already being obtainable, I don't see it happening. If they aren't supposed to do anything, I wonder what they are meant for.
The 9 stain triggers have no input, nor output. I don't see a way that they work.
Sooooooo what you're telling me is that they're probably bugged?
The 9 stain triggers have no input, nor output. I don't see a way that they work.
Is there a programmed trigger for the TV to turn on and give the achievement? Or is that missing too?
I wouldn't mind community servers so much if so many of them weren't riddled with ads, unfair donation perks, obnoxious sound effects and mods. I understand that I can just favorite the servers I do like, but you don't get the amount of options and convenience as you did with quickplay.
Hope they don't fuck off for a year and stick around to listen and act on the feedback they're getting.
what the fuck are these bullfrickinhorseshit heavy nerfs and demo buffs

Techically, you can't reach channel 777 without more knobs.
I like that about it. What I don't like is a casual mode rank. It basically turns it into a psuedo-Competitive where you can't efford to be relaxed for fear that your rank will go down.
Your 'rank' or level in Casual will never go down. You don't lose XP by losing rounds, you just gain it with time and gain it a bit faster by doing reasonably well. Even a guy that's very medicore will be able to reach high levels of XP in Casual by playing a lot. Also pretty sure that, like CS:GO, this Casual XP-determined rank that only goes up with time has no influence on who you get matched with. There's got to be a hidden MMR evaluating your Valve pub performance, but it's hidden so there's no way/reason for people to rage at you for 'losing their rank because of crap teammates', since that won't be a thing. Hopefully, the great majority of people won't be obsessed with gaining these (rather pointless e-peen) ranks as fast as possible, so the amount of people giving you shit for losing a Casual MM pub match should be low.
The 9 stain triggers have no input, nor output. I don't see a way that they work.
They could be handled outside of the map, Valve isn't stupid (as much as the new matchmaking leads us to believe) it would be too easy to use map triggers for a mysterious achievement like this one. They didn't add a new achievement to the game just for it to not work.
I don't really care about the nerfs and the buffs, seeing as though they will get rectified soon. I don't care, like /r/tf2, about the new casual mode replacing quickplay. I hated quickplay and is glad the new system encourages people to use community servers as a niche. The one thing I really care about in this update is the fact that the fucking item server and game coordinator seems to still shit itself every time someone touches a server over in valve. In 2016
Vote system is disabled, so no team scrambling or kicking hackers. If teams are unbalanced or you play map you don't like, you can't even leave because u get penalty. I won't add my phone number and I won't pay 9 euros for pass either. For first time in my life, I don't want to play TF at all. What the hell.
Is sv_pure 1 on casual servers?
Did the gameservers die or something?
Did the gameservers die or something?
The Game Coordinator's having so many problems I'd be very surprised if some big baby wasn't DDOSing them.

Hell, I remember a Medic one that was bugged since I started playing the game, and they only that year fixed it.

I never got to play any Casual because it was taking forever to load.
Servers are back up for me.

Valve isn't incompetent enough to screw up an achivement when it's literally half of the entire amount added.
passtime is pretty fun, shame they broke about everything else. I can't speak bout the balance changes yet, and pubs having leaving penalties is dumb. What I'm most dissapinted in is the promised optimization and polish, everything feels LESS polished now and I swear the game runs even worse for me now. On a fucking high end pc. Pls.
Servers are back up for me.
Aaaand back down again.
