Some things I do remember him knowing about was the push for the shortstop (he says that's one of the things he saw when visiting Valve) and the changes on the quickie bomb launcher (which he said he though could make it OP). It's pretty obvious B4nny didn't tell Valve how to rebalanace stuff in this update, they probably just got his opinion on some of the rebalances (but not everything). Edit: I believe some of the things he didn't know about was the flamethrowers causing mediguns to heal at a reduced rate and all mediguns letting you move at the rate of your heal target.

Although I have to admit one thing, and it was that the one time I managed to get into comp. matchmaking it was actually very fun. Matchmaking was exactly what I needed in TF2.

So something didn't go right and you got the failure screen.
Quickplay is now Slowplay. Also you can't chose the gamemode you want in the core gamemodes, you need 2 gamemodes selected min :\

The update is fine in my opition, besides the casual mode. That feels like a rushed last minute decision. But I'm sure they'll fix it up over time.
I just played 40 minutes of casual Powerhouse, we almost won first round but then our team mostly gave up and enemy team picked 4 medics and 3 heavys so we lost it and lost second round because our med left and 5 people were afk on respawn. It wasn't that bad tho, but I would prefer some kind of time limit for CP maps.

As soon as they remove leaver penalties from casual and the servers stop crying I'm sure there won't be as much complaining. I'm still pissed that apart from the jumpers there weren't any art updates / optimization changes.

On top of needing 2 bombs to kill most classes? From reading the log, it seems like weaker Iron Bomber now, but we'll see.
Casual players go for pyro I mean, all those w+m1. I think Pyro might have won just by numbers of players liking him. Also, this topic might have "heavy" bias on heavy :v: Everybody wanting heavy to win.

B4nny's twitter comments from over a month ago pretty much stated changes were coming to casual TF2 play plus valve added the ability for the comp matchmaking HUD to support up to 12 players per team a month or two ago.
Damn. I never felt so bad because of tf2 in a while. Watching most of the enemy team disconnect, forcing 3-5 dudes, who just want to play and don't have abandon penalties, to play against at least 10 players is actualy pretty painful. And the worst part: you can't even join their team and help them.
Is it just me or is quickiebomb launcher fucking broken now?

This game isnt fun anymore. Out of 3 casual matches I played, 3 were steamrolls because players were leaving. Comp forces me to use ridicolous fov of 54, and apparently broke cp_badlands for me (black square in the sky). The 2nd day of the update was called "heavy vs pyro". What did we get? Huo-long heater buff, natascha/BB/steak nerf and slightly changed pyro. This isnt core gameplay change. I am dissapointed with this update. Oh, and did I mention new HUD that clutters up my screen?
Is that Grant? Sounds a bit off in some of the lines.
I was working on the new achievement with a group of people, and we managed to get it. Are we one of the first ones to get it? We got that horrible Jack hat and a little Jack badge.

Everybody in the games is whining about lack of aimless pubs existing I'm really happy about this update, finally I've been able to play the 24 man chaos of TF2 but with everybody on my team TRYING, not just sitting AFK, building sentry nests on last etc etc

Jesus christ, some people here have quite literally posted "Update is shit" in 6 new ways. Wait for the Servers to actually work + the expected bug fix update later, then fall your judgement.
I got matched onto a fucking Singapore server where everyone on my team had literally 300 ping or more. The other team was in the 80s. What the fuck is this bullshit?
