Do we have a video of flooping through walls with the Balloonibouncer yet?
we never happy about an update that still dosent work and still has server problems
I'm mainly talking about the people claiming it's all over because of launch bugs and issues when it's a permanent update
Lol if anything they are gonna buff heavy. Honestly this community fucking sucks, you guys are never satisfied. Do you even want this game to thrive you pessimists? Yeah maybe there are some casual issues but I'm sure valve will address them. A class update implies a buff.
Normally, but in the case of Heavy, it's safe to assume that even if he IS buffed in the update, somewhere along the line it will lead to more nerfs. See: Gun Mettle's Natascha buff.
You guys are never happy.
I'm happy about the new stranges.
Normally, but in the case of Heavy, it's safe to assume that even if he IS buffed in the update, somewhere along the line it will lead to more nerfs. See: Gun Mettle's Natascha buff.
Natascha didn't need to be buffed, it needs to be reworked completely. Slowing mechanics are inherently bad.
This update tells us valve cares and is listening, and that there is a future for this game we all love, give it time! Sadly I bet all of r/tf2 is circlejerking and comp will fail.
Natascha didn't need to be buffed, it needs to be reworked completely. Slowing mechanics are inherently bad.
So does the Sandman. What's taking so long?

See: Gun Mettle's Natascha buff.
I'm curious on something if you don't mind taking a second to answer this. But would you be ok if they actually did a really good buff for heavy, but in return they made it require more effort in him to pull off plays as well? I only ask is because one of the reasons I'm worried about a heavy buff is only because I've seen what powerful heavies could do ( After Tomislav was released with Tomislav/Sandvich/GRU heavies in particular, which often ended with the winning team just shitting out as many of them as they could ) and how incredibly boring games, and I do mean they were boring... While I won't deny that other classes can be as easy as well, soldiers spamming choke points and what not. I'm shooting for that heavies still have the potential to do incredible games, but not make it as dirt easy as just pointing at the enemy and holding down the fire button to pull them off with a medic shoved up their butt to get massive amounts of kills in the process.. Would you have anything against that type of a push for heavy?
This update pretty much killed tf2 instead of revitalizing it
Fixed that for you.
Woah wait a fucking minute it's the first time I've been here since almost two years ago and you're STILL complaining about heavy nerfs :v:
I get the feeling that they're trying to keep heavy from being viable because then comp soldiers would actually have to deal with a class that can counter them.
Woah wait a fucking minute it's the first time I've been here since almost two years ago and you're STILL complaining about heavy nerfs :v:
He does have reason to, I'd argue heavy is the worst class in the game right now. His dps isnt worth the trudge of being so slow and dps is the only thing he has over the other classes
I get the feeling that they're trying to keep heavy from being viable because then comp soldiers would actually have to deal with a class that can counter them.
That's why they're going to do a huge class overhaul for him and give him new weapons, yes

Sums up my opinion https://m.reddit.com/r/tf2/comments/4rtogo/tf2_isnt_dead_read_me/ [editline]8th July 2016[/editline] Posted by Reddit user tabuu123 Community servers dying off resulted in many players losing investment as Valve servers and Quickplay took over. Now, people who want that have to go to community servers, which will revive them and allow for more innovation on the community's end, with custom maps and stuff. Developer support can be focused on Casual and Competitive Matchmaking, Campaigns, Contracts, Major Updates, etc. The MM system is TF2 stepping into 2016, but the old ways still exist. And the old ways were better with community servers. I don't use the term renaissance lightly. If we approach this the right way, TF2 has nothing but good days ahead. [editline]8th July 2016[/editline] So stop getting your panties in a bunch!
You can look at it however you want but it isn't about how you should approach it, it's about how the majority is approaching it right now. And we all know how that's going.
Pyro is still messed up
I think that casual should let you leave without the temporary ban and have the option to join in a already started match, but I still think you should pay in xp for leaving.Imagine if we could just pick matches that we know we would win, that xp would not be fair.
The server browser doesnt work for me Casual mode never queues for me Not really into comp
Have you tried using the steam server browser? and if that doesn't work, you could always just save the IPs of servers you enjoy playing on
This update saved community servers
Pyro is still messed up
I feel like all of this is fairly obvious, if Valve fixed this stuff they would've said so
hope they revert medigun changes and spy speed. anything else i can live with.
Since this is like the only active thread right now, does anybody want to play some MM?
So does the Sandman. What's taking so long?
Scout is one of valve's precious baby boys that must not be touched in any way as he is perfect and beyond reproach.
My god, he pronounces "GIF" as "JIF", his opinion is now dead to me. But in all seriousness, some of these bugs I don't mind that much. Like airblast visuals.
Who's ready to wait another 6 months before they fix another weapon that isn't broken or underpowered

Is it just me or are some of the new voicelines at the starts of rounds really quiet? I can barely hear some of them. I'd really like to get a rip of that song the Soldier sings about losing the first round.
