i ran into one and a dude on my team had a dev kit of lmaobox that he only uses to counter other hackers not all heroes wear capes
so when he gets boiling mad (like normal people) what does he do? no excuses. he's a shitter aswell.
i ran into one and a dude on my team had a dev kit of lmaobox that he only uses to counter other hackers not all heroes wear capes
Cheaters (or, usually skilled programmers who have their own cheats/tools written and know what they're doing) that use their "artificial skill" to counter other cheaters are the real mvps
so when he gets boiling mad (like normal people) what does he do? no excuses. he's a shitter aswell.
way to assume
But the large bugs you're pointing weren't ignored! Any bug that has been truly game breaking has regularly been fixed within a couple days.
Well the crouch glitch has existed for years in many of Valve's games. Yet they never found a way to fix it and just seems like they just ignore the fact it exists now instead of finding a resolve to the problem.
he was playing legit the vast majority of the game until the opposing cheater started to become a nuisance

I'm sure valve-grade can do it.

Just refunded a game I knew I'd probably never get around to playing so that I could buy some new items. You've ruined me Valve. And also helped me make a conscientious decision about my backlog. Thanks.

I'm sure valve-grade can do it.
Pretty sure Valve is aware of it given it's widely used to speedrun their games. They are aware of it but don't know how to fix it or are afraid of touching it: Movement/playerstate code is very fragile, a single wrong argument/line can break rocketjumping, stickyjumping and other shit. You know they tried touching it a year ago, and remember the results, right? And also... [sp]GARRY'S MOD DOESN'T HAVE ADVANCED MOVEMENT MECHANICS LIKE CTAPPING AND ROCKETJUMPING, STOP COMPARING THOSE[/sp]

Come on...Tf2 had until last update better perfomance that gmod vanilla in most cases...And you know how many years did it take to fix that issue? Willox and Robotboy fixed multicore and now garrysmod has a good perfomance
I remember back then when Gun Mettle happened many asked for them to be able to inspect any weapon in the game, while I found that to be pointless, maybe Valve is working on it?
The messed up code isn't the developers fault, TF2 is a game that introduced a fuckload of stuff to an engine that wasn't designed for it, they had to heavily modify the engine to support stuff like skins, classes, buildings etc... , it could be better if the game used csgo's engine, but it'll be really hard to port it over and it will take too much time, they'll also need to rewrite code for many sides, but that's the only solution now, the source engine can't handle this much, it needs to be ported to source 2, it will take alot of time but it's worth it

So how long has the smoothing on the pocket pistol been broken? Just noticed it today, looks terrible.
And also... [sp]GARRY'S MOD DOESN'T HAVE ADVANCED MOVEMENT MECHANICS LIKE CTAPPING AND ROCKETJUMPING, STOP COMPARING THOSE[/sp]
??? it's the same engine. It's the same method and the same results. It's also already fixed in games post-tf2. All these game variants have these "techniques" regardless. what are you on about?

Removing it would make a lot of spots unreachable. It wasn't just a TF2 thing, it was a source thing - and due to that once it was in it stuck.
I miss Quickplay. And autobalance. I know it will be (sort of) cleared up soon, but being in a team of 5 fighting against 11 isn't fun at all. Getting caught in CTF matches that last 3 minutes tops where on team steamrolls the other isn't fun either. There's barely enough time to get any points before having to wait in the queue again and it's making me actively avoid CTF for the time being.

What's glitchy about crouch jumping? If we're talking about crouch jumping existing at all, it's totally intentional. The tutorial of Half-Life 1 even taught you how to do it!
So how long has the smoothing on the pocket pistol been broken? Just noticed it today, looks terrible.
well over a year now
What's glitchy about crouch jumping? If we're talking about crouch jumping existing at all, it's totally intentional. The tutorial of Half-Life 1 even taught you how to do it!
It's quantum crouching.
It's not crouch jumping, it's some sort of crouching mid air multiple times glitch.
What's glitchy about crouch jumping? If we're talking about crouch jumping existing at all, it's totally intentional. The tutorial of Half-Life 1 even taught you how to do it!
Crouch jumping in a certain way makes the world model crouched, but keeps the camera and everything else standing. Allowing for players to walk through and shoot over low roofs or low ramps. (This allowing Engineers to build through roofs getting out of maps, and any other class to shoot through ramps without being able to be shot back).
The "Jackpot!" PASS Time achievement is being fixed in the next update. It will soon count round wins properly. [t]http://i.imgur.com/PfXFMbi.png[/t]
I just got into a Casual match with three hackers on one team. I honestly couldn't get angry because one of them somehow had this awful trumpet sound coming from them 24/7. You'd hear it echoing in the distance and it'd just get louder and louder as they got closer. I should've been pissed but I nearly got into a fucking choking fit from laughing after hearing it in the distance at the end of the match as this aimbotting spy flew across the screen spinning around like an absolute madman. They were also auto-spamming the chat with an aimbot advertisement.

Gmod also doesn't have any sort of special cases for movement like rocketjumping, grenade jumping: They are designed to KILL you, not AID YOUR MOBILITY.
well over a year now
Has anyone emailed them about it?
I swear I saw Civilian grade JACK-Hat today. Is that !items command still working on the community (trade) servers? I remember seeing it alot in like 2012
Since Spy's new speed buff, he's now able to jump on Steel's last cap.
I swear I saw Civilian grade JACK-Hat today. Is that !items command still working on the community (trade) servers? I remember seeing it alot in like 2012
You get the good old Civvie Grade JACK Hat from the Jackpot achievement, so I would say he didn't really have to use !items or anything, he probably just played a good ammount of Pass Time with a good team. And I think !items does not work anymore, tried it when I first joined (2013) myself, did not work (so, being the idiot me I used SAM.) :v:
