the most interesting side of Spy's buff I liked is that an engie can't follow the Spy with a jag to smack him with a crit after he saps the sentry
The only thing I hope they add back to casual is joining friends through steam

I did the same thing many times as pyro and engie, and since they both have 300 hu speed, it was doable before.
Still no map selection in casual. Still no vote kicks. Still no ad-hoc connections.

You can dumb me but facts haven't changed. Casual mode is still a heavily inadequate replacement for Valve pubs. Until Valve rectifies these issues (including the Natascha/Cozy nerf, as well as the lack of proper nerfs for CaC and Darwin) I still am not pleased with this update.
I was looking through unused content (I'm really bored) and I was wondering why some of this stuff never shipped. Like the [URL="https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/ID_Badge"]ID Badge[/URL], the [URL="https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Mummy_Eyes"]Mummy Eyes[/URL] or the [URL="https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Baleful_Beacon"]Baleful Beacon[/URL], which were pretty much done. They were pretty cool, too. I vaguely remember the [URL="https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Legionaire%27s_Lid"]Legionnaire's Lid[/URL] was scrapped for a reason but I can't remember which.
Then there's the [URL="https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Flyswatter"]Flyswatter[/URL] which is pretty weird.
Always wondered if they could repurpose the Nail Gun and Traquilizer into new weapons as well, it was such a shame to waste those models.
There's also a bunch of kill icons that are only waiting to be implemented (including a weird thrown stone one I've never seen before), and a crapload of taunts and animations from that one leak ages ago.
I also wish they did something with the Golden Wrench again like they were hoping for, because with so many of those deleted there's practically none of those left. Well there's the Golden Pan too I guess.
The Mummy Eyes actually appeared in the icon for the Halloween 2013 community bundle for awhile, but were removed eventually.
So, since the Prinny Machete got updated to be equippable by Spy and Engineer, can we get the same for the rest of the all-class melees?

Yeah, the Engineer is hugely inconsistent between third/first person, while the spy doesn't have any backstab animations.

Well seeing as how many people play TF2 daily, I wouldn't be surprised if they made so many badges that the colours are distinctly distant from another by like 25 levels, just to keep things fresh.

Without votekick the aimbotting situation in casual is pretty bad.
Is it possible that they locked the viewmodels to 54 by accident? I don't see any reason why would they do that.
Seems like if the losing team has an abandon it doesn't make the winners not gain xp. Like if you've won 1 round and the enemy team has a rage quit you aren't penalized for it

At least in casual, people abandoning shouldn't be affecting things at all, by design other people are supposed to fill in from quick play. There's just a bug preventing it.
