And to give me back my domination lines.
And get rid of all the nonsense hidden attributes of weapons like the minigun's hidden bullshit nerfs
I feel like stacking extra stuff on old weapons is really not the way to go, balance wise. It makes it harder to remember or understand.
I hope that whatever new weapons we get for the Heavy and Pyro shake things up as much as the original achievement weapons did. The only weapons that feel like they're truly different from stock besides them are things like the Crossbow, the Vaccinator, the B.A.S.E. Jumper or the Rescue Ranger, which change how their weapon slots fundamentally work.
It's at like 270
is that a crit rocket joke

Everyone longs for weapons that change a core playstyle of a class. I just fear more generic '100% crits while M1'ing' crap for Pyro and 'slowed down rev and movement speed' weapons for Heavy will happen.

I can't wait for the Heavy Nerf Update that will come in 2020! Hey, instead of having those dogs maul the agents, Heavy should have revved his minigun and shot the wall for a full second before aiming at them, giving them ample opportunity to react and run.

I'd really like to see some reasons as to why weapons had their attributes changed this update. The damage bonus vs players targeted by your sentry is a great idea, but why on the widowmaker? I would have honestly preferred that stat to replace the dumb gimmick of cloak / uber drain on the Pomson. would be much more interesting of a weapon.
valved leaked the page they'll use if heavy wins [T]http://puu.sh/pYsz5.jpg[/T]
valved leaked the page they'll use if heavy wins [T]http://puu.sh/pYsz5.jpg[/T]
wtf the cotton candy can still crit hope you like super cavities
wtf the cotton candy can still crit hope you like super cavities
It's like the cow mangler projectiles, it only crits when a pyro reflects it.
It's like the cow mangler projectiles, it only crits when a pyro reflects it.
They haven't fixed that yet?
They haven't fixed that yet?
It's a feature!
It's a feature!
Until it's removed because it was totally a bug the whole time guys!
People are joking about it but its really not all that far fetched. Do we really want a balance change to Heavy and pyro after what valve gave us this patch? The nerfs applied to the Crit a Cola and Quickfix did absolutely nothing. The debuff time on the crit a cola is practically unnoticable, while -10% off the faster ubercharge of the Quickfix doesn't mean jack shit because the quickfix always builds at maximum speed for medigun mechanics. Mean while underpowered shit like the Brass Beast or the Righteous Bison got nerfed. The Quickiebomb, a weapon that was perfectly fine got buffed. I think the winner's update will be half assed at best.
Righteous Bison was imo a perfect sidegrade, it damaged roughly the same but was a projectile instead of hitscan. I haven't really played with it since the update, but it didn't really feel like it needed changing.
Righteous Bison was imo a perfect sidegrade, it damaged roughly the same but was a projectile instead of hitscan. bison is basically a much weaker pomson with a tiny penetration right now. no more strategic pierce either. and it vanishes on contact with a teammate (used to go through). and it keeps spamming the flare impact sound for some reason. oh well. at least it still has paint :v:
also the new reload sounds make them unbearable to use

I hope they patch in being able to choose which maps you want, can't tell you how sick I am of cp_mountainlab and a few others are the ranks for casual purely cosmetic? I thought it was supposed to help match you up with similar ranking players, I get so many games now where half my team just drops because theyre getting steamrolled too hard
I dunno if I'd call it perfect, but it definitely didn't need what it got.
Perhaps pefect is a bit of an exaggeration, but it was certainly one of the better weapons in the game. It was not only pretty different to the weapon it replaced, but decently balanced too.
i actually did like the one bison change where they made its damage actually consistent if they got rid of the projectile speed penalty and beefed up the damage to be identical to the pomson, it would be a great weapon again
I dunno if I'd call it perfect, but it definitely didn't need what it got.
I think outside of all crit servers, I never really recall ever using the Righteous Bison over the stock Shotgun if I really wanted to have a weapon secondary for Soldier. On all crit servers though, made destroying entire teams a joke when one shot could wipe them out in narrow hallways...

http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=22797
Additionally, in the very near future, we will be shipping a more comprehensive Casual Mode patch that will let you select the maps you will be matched into. ... Third, user choice. We'd intended to roll out the number of match options available to players incrementally, so as not to overload the matchmaking system with too many variables on Day One. In retrospect, of all the match options to hold back, map selection should not have been one of them. It is the next feature we are adding to Casual Mode, and you will get it very soon.

I wonder how many people will try to get DM hightower only and then realize they cannot kick people trying to capture the payloads.
Why would you spend time putting more effort into doing that when you can join a server that removes the hassle? I've never understood this about quickplay hightower.
The queue times for casual are already kinda long as it is. I cant imagine how much worse it'll be if you're looking for a specific map
