They will tell pyro name. But its probably Patrick Bateman for obvious reasons
It's hip to be a flare
Maby they will tell what gender the pyro is
Well I don't think we ever got a confirmation that Poopy Joe was male or female so it's up in the air.
I think the safest bet for Day 2 would be weapon balances, the four taunts that had unlisted videos, and Asteroid/Cactus Canyon.
They will tell pyro name. But its probably Dennis Bateman for obvious reasons
Nah man, Scout's confirmed Pyro being Elvis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUBeJmA9Mtg&feature=youtu.be&t=215
-snip already said I knew it-
I think it's worth recalling that the original war got a pretty big comic to go with it, that actually told us a lot about the Administrator. I'm not saying that a comic is necessarily coming out, but it would be nice to have some backstory on why the heavy and pyro are fighting, I don't know that we've ever even seem them interact in any meaningful way.

the whole war thing might literally just be heavy and pyro getting big rebalances
I know this won't happen but just imagine one of the participants winning and at the end its revealed to be a spy and the spy gets the weapon
Was probably said already but someone in the discord pointed out that tomorrow is literally meat your match (credit to dsswild2)
buffalo steak buffs then?
I know this won't happen but just imagine one of the participants winning and at the end its revealed to be a spy and the spy gets the weapon
It could happen remember Sniper Vs. Spy?
This is going to be the longest ~24 hours of my 'life'.

I'm kinda hoping for a UI overhaul aswell. TF2's interface is so incredibly old and outdated, and with every update that brings something new (contracts, MvM, streams, etc) they kinda just tack it on haphazardly without any real thought (MvM's button is literally just an icon with the letters MVM in aliased Arial type, how lazy). And don't get me started on how clunky and ugly the in-game HUD is, oh boy. This update feels like they're trying to introduce TF2 into the popular competitive scene, but the interface is just not as good as many other games in the same scene, CSGO being the biggest and best example.
Nail in the coffin for community servers right there.
Well this nice to wake up too! Anyways, I guarantee there's going to be a Propaganda contest with how much Welovefine loves doing art contests. All the submissions for it will most likely go into the merch workshop, where they will pick winners for t-shirt designs.
I am very happy to potentially see the return of an old, beloved TF2 event of yesteryear! Years and years ago, I served in the Soldier vs. Demoman war as a soldier - in so much as someone safely sitting in front of their computer playing pretend war ever "serves," but I digress. I killed 1,009 of those cyclopean monsters because I felt, as the all-arounder, Soldier getting an extra tool would be more fitting - and also because my friends didn't realize that crit melees did 195 and the odds were stacked against them every time I coaxed them into allcrit melee-only battles. I am glad that we pulled through, if only because of the art contest. Now that we may be looking at similar stakes, I'm ready to do my part for Heavy. Pyro already has some fantastic (though somewhat problematic, in terms of fun counterplay) fancy play between all of his slots. I want to see if any new toy, should that be at stake, could give Heavy a really fun shake-up and possibly even add some more dimension to his play. Heavy may be scared of that... thing. Sasha, however, is not. (Neither is shotgun.) Now, I just hope it's 'kill stuff' and not 'vote online,' which that teaser image may be hinting to if it's not just a playful ribbing on generic American political soapboxing.
Nail in the coffin for community servers right there.
It really depends on how/if they can integrate into the system. If it's done well it means they will actually get a bit boost of life but if done wrong yes.. they will probably all die.
the whole war thing might literally just be heavy and pyro getting big rebalances
there is absolutely no way players can affect it through gameplay kill counters. Valve will never want servers to be filled with heavy/pyro spam.

I think it's a good time for bets: How long before the "pro" players start complaining and asking for the "real" competitive mode? A.K.A. class restrictions and weapon bans :v:
So it is a war. I guess we will have some new lore then.
I wonder if with this being a class V class thing, could contracts somehow be involved for overall team points?

50 buck this is the lore "New Mexico becomes a offical part of Mexico and if Trump wins they cant enter america soldier furious at this makes them run for president and the heavy and pyro get two different ideas on how to run america and compete." Just stating those two classes means pubs will flock to them anyway to make it 12 vs 12 lol..
