I personally enjoy the contracts. They make me use a weapon or class that I wouldn't normally, and most of the time they're fun. There's the occasional exception, like the Reserve Shooter Soldier contract, which was just awful. For the most part, it felt quite refreshing to change things up!
I sold all the awful crap I got from them, though. Most of the skins were ugly as sin and I'm not dumb enough to open a crate when I can sell it for £3 at the start of a campaign.

Note: you don't need contracts to swap weapons that you use all the time. Having them do that for you if you like refreshment is just not smart.

I'd love to see a new war update, it was fun to see the community divided over something so trivial
I just looked into that b4nny stream that was posted few posts above. He mentions that there will be competitive, casual, [U]and community modes[/U]. The community one was expected based on how things are in CS:GO, but I don't think it was confirmed before.
I just realized something about this whole Pyro vs Heavy thing. In 6v6, the main classes played are Demo, Soldier, Medic, Scout, and Sniper. The four offclasses that don't see much playing time are Heavy, Pyro, Spy, and Engie. What if Valve will do two matchmaking war updates; one for Pyro and Heavy, and another for Spy and Engie? We already know that Spy vs Engie was at least going to be an update at some point, and the first mentions of matchmaking in the code were added in the same update as the hints to Spy vs Engie, in Scream Fortress 2014.
Im just hoping for MvM update.

I'm not saying they were bad, they really surprised me, and I like them.
Maybe there'll be a 'find game' setting for drop-in drop-out matches, and all the servers that usually wouldn't be compatible in quickplay could be put there. Toggle stuff like custom modes, maps, etc.
