Was Mannpower/special delivery fun? I never tried it
Mannpower can be if both teams are competent, but if not it's a complete steam-roll.
Special Delivery is kinda like Hightower for some, just mindless deathmatch. So, that's kinda up to you on deciding it's fun or not.

Wait this game has a comic series?
Was Mannpower/special delivery fun? I never tried it
Personally I loved Special Delivery, a fun and chaotic mix of CTF and CP. Didn't played Mannpower enough, but the Hook mechanic while stiff, was actually enjoyable to feel like an static Spiderman in the air, tho Power Ups never did that much for me.

Oh my god how are we almost a whole year since the last comic? Did the writers and artists get cryogenically frozen?
It's not even the finale!
In Valve's language, "soon" can mean anything, a day , two hours, a week or 9 fucking years.

imo sd wasn't great, but it was alright. It fixed some of the problems of ctf, while retaining some of the others. Mannpower was a lot of fun, but traded a lot of solid polished tf2 mechanics for gimmicky ones that ultimately have a lot less staying power. Grappling hooks are fun, but have less depth than tf2's normal movement mechanics. Power-ups are fun, but have less depth than tf2's class balance. Fixes some of the problems of ctf, but actually exacerbates others.
imo,
rd > mannpower > sd > ctf

Okay, updated it again.
Can we count Metalworks becomes official instead of the tile for 'Coalplant becomes official'? Both are competitive maps made by ScorpioUprising I mean.
I'm just thinking the second row, or the diagonal up and to the right are the two choices for getting a bingo here, if we count it that way.
robot destruction is seriously one of my favorite gamemodes, too bad it's hidden behind a map that never updates
asteroid as a map is really cool too, it actually feels pretty balanced

I seriously think Robot Destruction hasn't been released because Valve is figuring out a way to put the mercenaries on Space, though they already have a start with the whole Poopy Joe stuff. I really want Asteroid out of Beta :( (and Cactus Canyon, love that unfinished messy thing).

You can't just replace one because you get close

You can't just add a winning square to your bingo sheet. Thats, like, against the rules
If cactus canyon gets out of beta, would they add another cactus?
And would we still have the train cactus and resupply closet mini-cactus?

They're clearly searching the comic book covers archives to find one that's somewhat obscure, but iconic.

You know what interesting? Heavy is beating up 3 scouts and a spy, arguably two most anoying classes to kill/get killed by as Heavy.
That means he is indeed buffed... Right?

Or that it just looks cool. that could also be a factor.
I think they way they had a very clear banner with the workshop blueprints for community maps and a big header saying COMMUNITY-CREATED MAPS really indicates that they intend to release some Valve maps. Next update page, otherwise they'd just say "Maps"
Does anybody know if Cactus got accidentally launched with Asteroid? I was under the impression that it was Asteroid only, but some people seem to have gotten a different impression. Can anybody confirm 100% that they did see Cactus on non-beta servers?

They go into space to find Sniper's mother and her rocket plated with Australium.
The new achievements have now been added to the game

It's been 24 hours since Day 1.
It should be soon now.

The 2 Pass Time achievements are now visible when you go to the list on steam
It won't be long now.

That would be nice reason, but first we have to know how they(the mercs and Miss Pauling) survived the ocean of flying robots.
Asteroid could also take place during the gravel wars, the administrator tells Redmon and Blutarch that their father owns the moon(don't ask me how) and they go on, we have a rocket on dustbowl, and they fight there to get an advantage, so it could or not make sense, just throwing some ideas.
they just added the cheevos
update soon™
one of the achievements is called passtime_hat so theres a good chance we're getting that 2 billion poly hat with the update

it would be cool if the 10 wins achievo gave you (a better version of) the pass time ball hat.
Edit: PLS.
The game will have to be updated for the achievements to actually work, yeah? Gonna be real soon.

I'll just say this.
Invest in joining the PASS Time group.
Trust me.
each achievement gives you 5000 polygons, and you craft 10 of them to get the passtime hat
