All right fellow heavies, time to kill him/her/it/Frankenstein. Honestly though points do not seem like the best way to solve this.
you can also pick the filthy way and set up a custom server with increased timescale and kill 100 heavies/second
No you need to do it through the matchmaking channels.
you can also pick the filthy way and set up a custom server with increased timescale and kill 100 heavies/second
No you can't. Matchmaking only.
Sandvich point-farming heavies will win this war
you can also pick the filthy way and set up a custom server with increased timescale and kill 100 heavies/second
Points are only counted in competitive and quickplay, most likely to prevent exactly that.
you can also pick the filthy way and set up a custom server with increased timescale and kill 100 heavies/second
I believe it said that you have to be playing on a Matchmaking or Casual server. Unless you're able to get admin privileges on those servers, that's not gonna happen. edit: and I'm late by like 10 seconds
Exploitable rip heavy's middle finger
here's what I think of the update so far
Pyro is a fundamentally and mechanically broken class who is run at a fraction of the time as Heavy is in 6v6. Heavy needs work of course but at least he's a consistent class.
Heavy is also extremely weak and useless.
finally new stranges also, does this mean scout can do the 4d3d3d3?
new guns finally maybe I can change my 5 year-old loadouts for once now
Heavy is also extremely weak and useless.
Looks like someone hasn't had a Heavy stand on the cart
If he's going all alone, then yes maybe. That's why Heavy should at all times have a pocket medic.
But a class needing a medic on their bum 24/7 to be able to do anything is kind of a fundamental problem
If he's going all alone, then yes maybe. That's why Heavy should at all times have a pocket medic.
Good to know Heavy only works when he's got a Medic up his ass.
Where?!
read the comic?
If he's going all alone, then yes maybe. That's why Heavy should at all times have a pocket medic.
The whole point of the Sandvich's creation was to make him less reliant on Medics. This didn't really change much but he had something at least. When they added the update that allowed him to share his Sandvich with teammates, he became even more reliant on Medics because now he could act as a walking healthkit for them. Sandvich has gone through some circular design over the years.
That's pretty much how he was designed though, he is meant to be a fairly slow tank class which shouldn't be able to take on many enemies all by himself, he will need some assistance to make things more effective. At least that's how I see him.
you can't tank when everything does 100-150+ damage per shot. "tank" doesn't really exist in tf2
you can't tank when everything does 100-150+ damage per shot. "tank" doesn't really exist in tf2
right now~
Maybe it's time to get back at this game, shake off some of that hibernation rust.
you can't tank when everything does 100-150+ damage per shot. "tank" doesn't really exist in tf2
I always thought about a damage resistance when spun up, like 20-30%

Maybe even introduce it as a new lunchbox item altogether.
read the comic?
It's a complete cop-out though. There are no new weapons coming with this update, only eventually* when Valve gets around to making them. *not much hope of them coming anytime soon with the TF2 team's track record.
At his core, the Heavy's main job is to soak up damage for teammates while using his minigun to kill enemies, or keep them away with the threat of death. Of course he's going to need the healing class to keep him going.

Any tank class in anything ever is going to rely on healers.

Fun time.
Such needless (and baseless) pessimism.
How is it baseless? We've gotten very few major updates over the past few years, fewer still introduced new weapons to the game. Even the bloody comic isn't done yet.
Remember, the enemy is afraid of us.
Heavy never needed to be shown as scary in his short to still be feared ingame.
