so it seems like valve prefers braindead walk at people and hope they can't aim demoknight, over aerial mobility, close quarters grenadier demoknight with an actual skill ceiling

The only changes I agree with on paper are the Sydney Sleeper and the Quickiebomb Launcher. The others I would have to try out myself to determine if they're good or bad. I don't know why Valve decided that the Bison or the Disciplinary Action needed nerfs. The whip was fine the way it was, one of the few "perfect" weapons in the game.

I don't understand the jumper changes one bit. The main problem with them was dummies equipping them without realizing they do 0 damage and this change does nothing to change that.

-All boots now require a shield to activate any move speed bonus listed on the item I still want to know the reasoning behind this. It's not as if they weren't useless enough if you didn't already have a shield, and I highly doubt that a little extra movespeed was somehow too much for a Demoman that simply doesn't have a weapon for direct combat. Was having that extra movespeed really so strong that a Scout couldn't laugh his way within 6 body lengths of the Demoman and shit all over him with old-fashioned buckshot?
I don't know if many remember but the Sydney Sleeper worked like it does now in this update by accident during the first few days of the spy/sniper update due to a bug.

Even though I'm happy the update came out, who in the right mind gave the okay to accept those balance changes? It made some of the more decent weapons just outright horrible or redundant.

ok ill stop bitching about the changes for a second and say what my positive thoughts are: the soda popper buff is reasonable pyro's buff against medic sort of makes sense when you take into account of medic's changes sydney sleeper is finally viable in 12v12 games but in 6v6 it should be changed to just be 1 jarate per person i can sort of understand where they're coming from with the cozy camper but jesus christ the bison nerfs and natascha nerf are so godawful they need to be reverted alongside the claid

I am upset they nerfed the quickfix. Again. Even its most unique feature just got shared with the others so whats the point of using it anymore
