Why... why did they had to touch the bison, the brass beast and the huo-long, they were perfectly fine.
Like as a typical support player the Medic changes are pretty damn good
But that Pyro change just shits all over it. You get a notification telling you your ally's healing is interrupted, what are you meant to do about it? Change to your Needle gun and HOPE you can kill the Pyro before the Pyro gets to you?
I think that the thing with the pyro vs medic thing is that you already heal slower right after your target recieves damage, but (at least, I THINK), pyro didn't contribute to this as much as other classes that slowed the healing significantly.

[b]Cleaner's Carbine[/b]: Same old song- I rarely see it and don't use it, but in this case I don't know that this is the thing that kept people from wanting to use it.
[b]Natascha and Brass Beast[/b]: ... I feel that these two still need to be completely reworked in some sense.
[b]Huo-Long Heater[/b]: +15% against people close to you and -10% (with falloff) for people at mid-to-long range where the Heavy is already at a disadvantage to power classes.
[b]Buffalo Steak Sandvich[/b]: Still not worth using in my opinion.
[b]Spy[/b]: Speed boost is... notable. Curious how it'll affect his play style.
[b]Enforcer[/b]: I don't think this was a bad change at all, but that's me.
[b]Pyro Flamthrowers[/b]: This is the most interesting change to me. I'll need to see how this feels/plays out.

[b]Medic Mediguns[/b]: As someone who frequents/sorta mains Medic this intrigues me.
[b]Quick-Fix[/b]: Seems fair to me- the rate was a bit high, but perhaps it was too far? Heals faster, but it's megaheal is always going to be at a disadvantage to the Uber and Kritz.

[b]Dropped Mediguns[/b]: Fair, but I'm going to miss picking up my old dropped mediguns for a surprise uber.
[b]Demoman Boots[/b]: I don't know that this was needed, but I could be wrong.

[b]Quickiebomb Launcher[/b]: I'll need to see these changes in action to judge them, it seems a bit OP at first glance- maybe not.
[b]Engineer Pelvis[/b]: Finally.
[b]Engineer Teleporter[/b]: Wow this is probably the most notable change to me alongside flamethrowers.

[b]Eureka Effect[/b]: I'll have to test it to see if it's actually worth using now.

As much as I want Pyro to win. I really think at this point Heavy needs a rebalancing update ASAP.

The huo-long existed to maybe set a brainless spy on fireand waste your ammo. Now it's actually useful, and interacts with your teammates by doing more damage against the people your Pyro torched.

The fact that Valve will change weapons like the Claidheamh Mor, Persian Persuader and the Shortstop completely while leaving the Sandman alone, and changing the Natascha and Pomson without touching their core mechanics proves that they don't know anything about balancing their own game.
I'm not surprised at this point, just disappointed.

Did they completely removed Asteroid & Cactus Canyon from the selection ? Really?

After reading all the patch notes, I'm overall loving this update! some changes are a bit meh, like Crit a Cola barely got nerfed andheavy got nerfed for no reason, but a lot of the changes are really good overall! Love it! :smile:
It frustrates me to no end that it's likely that the minimal heavy change ( i.e only fucking nerfs ) only happened because chances are anything good is being saved for his subsequent rebalancing way off in the future. Fucking annoying.
The Righteous Bison crippling is seriously driving me crazy. What possible train of logic lead to this change?
