It appears as Valve's primal goal is for there to be no need for weapon bans by balancing everything perfectly, which I doubt will work out due to how stubborn Valve is about some concepts.

Anybody that wanted to play it has played it, now they're waiting for the existing weapons to not be bad aswell as releasing comp so it has actual usage rather than just beta testing

I am one of those people that stopped playing and yeah. While I do really want highlander I'm waiting for proper ranks and the final version now.

Seriously, I've timed out so many times just by trying to load into the match that my ban doesn't expire until September, and even if I try doing low priority (which seems to have more players for presumably the same reasons) there's a chance that my ban could extend further simply because I didn't load into the server in 3 seconds

I still play matchmaking when I can get a party together. It's like TF2Stadium except people abandon mid-game instead of while waiting for others to join.

The amount of people that have beta passes is miniscule compared to the actual size of the TF2 playerbase.

Well, that situation settled itself quickly. So, anyways, how about that Spy v. Engie update? Any guesses as to why Spy and Engie were chosen over other "war"-able classes, like Scout v. Heavy or Sniper v. literally anybody, maybe Pyro?
