Uh, why are you guys getting concerned about a Spy helmet now when this has been in the game for nearly 5 years? [T]https://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/f/f4/Spy_-_Spiral_Sallet.png[/T]

Mistakes are good for learning, not repeating them.

TF2 is already a clusterfuck in terms of cosmetics so why even bother caring Can't wait for that 4th cosmetic slot to blind me even more
TF2 is already a clusterfuck in terms of cosmetics so why even bother caring Can't wait for that 4th cosmetic slot to blind me even more
Better yet, infinite cosmetic slots only bounded by equip regions. Bring on the eyesore loadouts!
TF2 is already a clusterfuck in terms of cosmetics so why even bother caring Can't wait for that 4th cosmetic slot to blind me even more
Some people may leave and not care anymore, but some people never stopped caring. And I would prefer not having more eyesore adde while I continue playing. Especially all-class stuff done just for money. I wish contributors and Valve had better taste and not just wanted to make all the money possible. But hey, after all it were popular demand in 99% of cases, that's how the Workshop works.
I have a general Question, since I always wanted to know what these do. http://git.optf2.com/schema-tracking/commit/?id=e9216dce0c3b70628f1b3a84ac6d26043ad9f4fc&context=10 An Item Schema Update came in about 1 hour ago, and I honestly just want to know, what do those updates accomplish, and do those updates imply an actual game Update for later?

In regard to new fresh and funky ideas for MVM, I really wish that an update brought in "nemesis bots" - ones that are robot copies of you that wear the robo versions of your items (giving them more of a purpose and continue existing as cosmetics). I'd see them going after you and it'd be like some sick showdown to settle the score between humans and robots on a more personal level.
Edit: Thread deleted. Guess he's still there. Erik Wolpaw has left Valve. One of the writers on TF2 and its comics (along with lots of other valve games) Sad day.
His wikipedia page says he works at Valve, and the Valve people page still lists him. I refuse to watch the VNN video so what evidence does he provide for it?
His wikipedia page says he works at Valve, and the Valve people page still lists him. I refuse to watch the VNN video so what evidence does he provide for it?
Its not VNN
His wikipedia page says he works at Valve, and the Valve people page still lists him. I refuse to watch the VNN video so what evidence does he provide for it?
It's ValveTime.net. I put in the websites forum thread instead of just the video now.
His wikipedia page says he works at Valve, and the Valve people page still lists him. I refuse to watch the VNN video so what evidence does he provide for it?
It's about a disease so that seems legit enough
Ok various people have said they've emailed Erik and that he didn't leave. Maybe this is a huge misunderstanding? I don't know what to think, Valvetime is pretty reliable :v:
Heard some years ago that Erik Woplaw had a disease so he gave a letter of resignation to Gabe. Gabe rejected the letter and simply told him, "Your job is to get better. That is your job description at Valve. So go home to your wife and come back when you are better.”
Is there any actual evidence to this? Cause it'd make me super sad if true.
Is there any actual evidence to this? Cause it'd make me super sad if true.
I believe it was when he was first starting work at Valve.

He doesn't have a Valve badge on his profile, (as ValveTime mentioned it): http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197975914763/badges/ Edit: That is his real profile. Weird how many mirror profiles came up when I searched for it: [t]http://i.imgur.com/v94RK2R.png[/t]
The valve time thread and video are gone. Huge misunderstanding probably! Sorry for the scare! :pudge:
http://www.valvetime.net/threads/erik-wolpaw-still-at-valve-retracting-our-round-up.255093/ He actually did leave [sp]for a day, because he was sick[/sp]. But joking aside, props to VT for swiftly admitting they made a mistake.
Is "shocking news about somebody departing from a company or dying being a mistake but causing an uproar for about 5 hours" the new thing? This has happened, like, 3 times in the past week or so, it's kind of surprising
Maybe it's just the amount of secrecy happening with Valve, so any tiny thing is news worthy.
No, I'm talking in general, not just Valve specifically. Hell, Jack Black was believed to be dead about 12 hours ago.

Oh man end of the line
