Razorback for the Heavy :goodjob: Might as well remove the Spy class at that point
Excuse my ignorance but, what is the problem that the Heavy currently suffers? I thought he was incredible shitty against Snipers and Spies, understandable, they are his hard-counters, but some people claim he is weak against Demos, Soldiers and possibly Pyros in terms of what he can do in the same situation of that characters

If he can get to your back he's going to kill you regardless of what class you are. If heavy knows you're there, he's also going to shred you before you can really do anything. He generaly counters the unaware more the any one class specifically. Soldiers and Demoman can murder heavy because of explosives, aka indirect damage. If the heavy cannot see you he cannot shoot you. Not to mention their mobility options give them lots of different ways to approach a heavy and catch him off guard before he can react. Pyro on the other hand doesn't really counter heavy. Even if you sneak behind and flank him, I've had heavies that are good at reacting immediately turn around and destroy me before I was able to kill them. He can heckle him more effective with the flare gun though since heavy is dirty easy to nail at range when he's firing his minigun so there is that. Hell, heavy's minigun can out DPS a phlog pyro that crit taunted next to him with full health. I was able to pull this off almost everytime on heavy after the tough break update if I had high/full health when he taunted.
Might as well remove the Spy class at that point
Say, that's not a bad idea...
I would doubt anything major would be coming out next week because of E3.
You guys do know we are at the last few pages?
Major Update Speculation XXXII - Bi-Yearly? Edition
I would doubt anything major would be coming out next week because of E3.
Yeah if this update is as big as B4nny is saying it is I'm sure Valve will want it to get some coverage on videogame news sites, and that may not happen during E3 week.

MUS XXXII - Updated the models and materials
I thought we agreed to Valve not giving a crap about the "others" ? Seems weird that some say that Valve does not care about OW yet however cares about the E3.
MUS XXXII - Updated the models and materials
Yes, please
I thought we agreed to Valve not giving a crap about the "others" ? Seems weird that some say that Valve does not care about OW yet however cares about the E3.
I think it's pretty clear Valve does care about Overwatch, in the past year Valve has given more love to TF2 then they have for years (though to be fair I think it wasn't just Overwatch that caused the change, it was also the general dissatisfaction in the community to how Valve was handling TF2 and the unhappiness with the End of the Line update).
It's not just Overwatch, it's the imerging "hero shooter" genre as a whole that's competing with tf2 and causing all this.
It's not just Overwatch, it's the imerging "hero shooter" genre as a whole that's competing with tf2 and causing all this.
Looks like Overwatch has or is gonna overshadow most of that competition already, so it might mostly be tf2 and OW in gamer's minds later on
Major Update Speculation XXXII - (All)Class (Re)Balance
I still like to think overwatch's existence is completely out of spite for the "theft" of dota2. it's more comical this way. companies silently hating eachother.
I still like to think overwatch's existence is completely out of spite for the "theft" of dota2. it's more comical this way. companies silently hating eachother.
I do think the same. I mean, there are too many similarities, and they were pretty salty about Dota 2, enough to make Heroes of the Storm, that couldn't even stand a chance against it. So they made Overwatch. Too many playstyles just ported, and the fucking OW's sentry made it clear to me :v: I like thinking Blizzard said: "Screw it, I'll be making my own TF2, with blackjack, and hookers" to bother Valve. This is Cold War 2, boys

plus it's even more ridiculous to me because I had never heard the term "overwatch" before half-life 2 :v:
What were the people that made those other character based shooters thinking?
Considering one of the companies was Gearbox, I'd say they were jumping onto the bandwagon and completely missing the point.
Razorback for the Heavy :goodjob: Might as well remove the Spy class at that point
consider [t]https://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/thumb/5/51/Ambassador.png/250px-Ambassador.png?t=20111119030738[/t] gun

That sure is helpful compared to instant death :goodjob:
