I think it works for all-class items like the Dead of Night because it looks so different between all the classes.
I just found out, that the command "tf_competitive_mode 1" also enables tf_mm_trusted, which then prints out this conforting message:

Well, fuck. I've been using this for quite some time now, looking at the new UI and stuff. Hope noone looks at those logs.
The manner of some console command description sometimes can be funny. It's like "Yes, we're Valve, but this time we thought about this."

I think you're kinda missing the point of what he's saying. He's calling you out for being one of the people who contribute to the problem and cause distrust by trying to use item updates for your own manipulative virtual benefit. Someone who discourages item contributors to post their potential work or to update their items. An example:

Found on the workshop page for the Universal Translator from the Invasion update. A hat known for being a common low tiered hat that goes for pretty cheap, even in unusual. It's doubtful you're being truthful when you call it an "awesome hat", you don't even own one yourself. You're just trying to encourage the item creator to update their item so that you can benefit from it. That's what people are unhappy about, and rightfully so. Things should be the decision of the creators, and it's people who beg for items to be updated, despite the fact that the items don't even work on other classes most of the time, that discourages them to actually do things. Take the recent Hot Dogger or Trickster's Turnout Gear posts for example.

Did i can't/don't have permission to change my opinion in 2 months? I'm just kinda bored of that "sneaky (or idk how'd you guys call me) trader" tag on me.
But btw, i really think that the way i said "all-class" is supposted to be "multi-class" (bad knowledge of english does a thing). I mean it would fit perfectly on Heavy and Engie (maybe later i'll try to make some screens to proov my words). Atleast i'm not being like this guy who said that he has unu bot dogger and he needs that all-class update.

Last time I checked updates don't usually happen on Sundays.
Not update related, but question. What did they change on the Killer's Kit in the last update? Did it fix the pockets going berserk during Mannrobics?

Dragonborn Helmet and Nanobalaclava were going to be all class cosmetics, but cut for some reasons.
Also, Sam's hat was going to be an all class cosmetic along with the Sam & Max promo items like the Max's Severed Head, Big Kill, and the Lugermorph, but it was cut because of modeling problems by trying to fit each class properly. Team specific textures remained in the game files during and beyond the promotion, but were later removed during an unknown patch. However, there was the Bloodhound cosmetic from the Poker Night 2 game only wearable for Sniper and Spy!
So since this is the year of the all/multi class cosmetic change, there's still a chance for those cosmetics to be all classes.

I've pretty much been getting contracts non-stop since around #22. Just finished #30 and 2 more dropped immediately after, heh. It's probably buggy as hell to do that, but non-stop contracts are also incredibly fun (except for spy contracts because I'm a pretty bad spy and spawn wallhacks don't help with that). Really didn't like the way Tough Break started off with only two contracts appearing at unpredictable and/or unreliable times.
I hope in the future they either 1) do two contracts a week but at predictable/reliable times (ala Gun Mettle) or 2) non-stop contracts, constantly; you'd always get a new one until the end of the event. Both would be awesome.

Well it's a good thing I don't have to deal with the Tough Break contracts anymore because it was a pain to get up to 26 contracts and a Australium Tough Break stamp.

The next update with contracts will probably be the summer update in June or July.
