I'm surprised that no ones talking about MyM '16 if anything
Well last time we got MyM it teased at Invasion, caused about 50 pages of arguing about that tease whether it was trustworthy or just a gag, and a "sneak peek" at a update Makini later said got cancelled. Itll be a fun read, but I doubt it'll have any new information. At most it'll have a tease for the Mayan SFM.
I want a dispenser that explodes
in TFC the engineer dispenser explodes when you destroy, it but there's a catch; enemies can take the ammo from it and it gives warning to the engineer when it happen. Thats why pro TFC engineer sometimes uses the dispenser as a mine that blocks doorways and bind their keyboard to easily destroy it fast instead of going to the menus to kill their ammo stealer/attacker [sp]i think it also hurt him but I dont really remember[/sp]
Imagine the Engie actually getting more than one new building in the entire life cycle of the game.

well technically the disposable sentry has enough differences from the mini sentry to warrant having its own league
What's going on here :v:? I haven't been here in a long while.

it does hurt him, I remember the dispenser roadblocks in the intel room on 2fort, oh the good old days
You are trying way too hard to generate hype over nothing, just stop dont generate hype until you have an official confirmation directly from a reliable valve source. Every time the tf2 community overhypes something it just makes the rare moment where we actually do get somewhat worthwhile content less enjoyable because you have pointlessly brought peoples expectations way higher than they should be.
Hey poptart , buddy ol pal, you do know valve runs that github page right, thus making this an official source.

Is it confirmed by an actual person?

I mean someone who actually acknowledges that the update is happening through an official statement not some obscure code reference that could be completely meaningless. You knew what I meant.

Are you implying that everything ever added into the games background during a tf2 update gets implemented into an update. Feel free to set yourself up for potentially nothing, but it takes more than seeing the word spy vs engie come up in an update background for me to throw logic out the window and get everyone ready for EOTL 2 complete with more disappointment.
Your fighting is tearing this family apart!!!
but it takes more than seeing the word spy vs engie come up in an update background for me
ok ok
are you ready for this
im gonna blow ur mind
basically every other piece of evidence we had over the past year like new weapons and their own animations and other stuff which has been posted here several times is enough proof to confirm they're working on it and i wont sum it up cause you gotta do your own research

grampa we talked about this go take your meds
[sp]i'm done shitposting[/sp]

To be fair if you watch the video I posted a few pages ago Robin Walker says they know people look at the code in their patches and they use that sometimes to communicate with the community. Of course it's impossible to say if it's the case this time or just an old version of the file that had spy vs engie in it.
Hey poptart , buddy ol pal, you do know valve runs that github page right, thus making this an official source.
...Actually, they don't. They don't run that github. At all. You're getting this confused with the Source linux-github thing. This is a fan/community-made github explicitly for diff checking new updates.
However, it does mean that the file in question is infact *in* TF2. Which I just went and confirmed - in tf2_misc_dir.vpk, under resource/ui/mainmenuoverride.res

if we are having an engie revolver in spy vs engie
you think we'll get some skins for it?
if we are having an engie revolver in spy vs engie

Yeah most likely, I wouldn't be surprised if skin series would accompany every major update from now on
i hope its going to be like WAR! where two classes are gonna brutally beat each other up for a revolver unlock
if we are having an engie revolver in spy vs engie

We haven't had any non-stock decorated weapons yet, although inspection animations were added for the flare gun in Tough Break.
I'd like to think that Valve are only making stock skins to try and keep some weapon readibility in the game, although I know I'm being blindly optimistic at this point.
Well seeing a reference to Spy v Engi again definitely makes it more likely to be actually happening, but it's just as likely imo that they accidentally stuck in an obsolete string from a file they had been working on when SvE was actively being worked on. For example, if they had updated a file earlier with a SvE reference, then needed to add something to that file, but instead of editing the one in the main branch they edited the one they had fucked with for SvE and shipped that instead. There's any number of ways something like that could slip through. That's not to say this isn't evidence in favor of SvE being actively worked on, but it's by no means conclusive.
On a honest note, I doubt Spy vs. Engie is going to happen.
Actually, I am not even sure how and what is going to happen with the usual Summer Update, their entire Work is currently focusing on Comp, are they really able to squeeze in a huge WAR! Event?
Either way, all we can do is letting time pass.

Imagine engi actually getting a hitscan secondary thats not a reskin.[sp]In a perfect world i suppose[/sp]

Imagine the Engineer getting a secondary.
Imagine the Engineer getting a secondary.
A what-now?
We're long overdue for an engineer secondary that isn't a pistol or wrangler, then again, we're long overdue for something unique for nearly every character

but we can't have new weapons until they balance everything first!! -says "everyone" since 3 years ago
New weapons in TF2, HA!
That is sooooo a few years ago!
Yeah, I too, miss having new weapons in the game, it would be a perfect time for new weapons, matchmaking and all, but new weapons aren't profitable, they're not easy money like skins are, plus they require lots of testing and work, making some reskins and adding them in a pay-wall box is much more profitable for them.
What I don't get, is why Valve doesn't take some of the reskins on the workshop, I mean, some of those are pretty bad-ass and pretty much any youtuber would steal their mum's credit card to get them.
