People used it to counter aimbotting snipers until it got nerfed. Used to be an absurdly fitting name.

I wonder if there's gonna be less snipers and spies now in pubs now? IIRC the reason why LAMOBOX wasn't getting vac banned before was because VAC works like an anti virus and has a list of hacks to detect or something, LAMOBOX constantly changes it's files making it impossible or at least hard for one particular type of LAMOBOX to be picked up and added to the anti-cheat filter. Looks like Valve finally caught on and updated VAC to catch it. Awesome news.

Meh both videos arent 100% accurate, first not ALL Lmaobox users got banned, 2nd its not dead forever and LMAOBox himself did not release it -- was a hacked account wich had been banned. Plus wilson himself said LMAOBox is not dead and soon will be updated and undetected again, and LMAOBox will keep updating it until Valve gets bored again like last time. it was 2 years undetected, and the last banwave was around the same time sooo.. just for the shits 'n giggles.

Yea and? Only lost 680$ wich are mostly weapons, easy to get back with trading within 2-3 days. I got more items on a alt account because I knew the risk.

Even if its not LMAObox, there are plenty of other hacks that still work unfortunately. I'm hopping this is just the start of them cracking down on hackers. Good Riddance.

But yea, LMAOBox will be updated soon, and sooner or later, prob after a few weeks after completely integrating competetive, TF2 will be left alone again.

This is why if some cheats are constantly rotated and modified they wont get detected, or where they are just not released to the public at all they wont get detected. Lmaobox its self isn't detected, its the injection method that is. Don't be surprised if it comes back within a week, this happens constantly with stuff like aimware in csgo so wont be surprised if it happens with TF2, specially because TF2 has had a large portion of the memory scanner of VAC disabled since forever, its why speedhacks still work in TF2 and not in CSGO and so on. Don't ask why it was partially disabled, was Valve's decision and pretty dumb one. Eitherway game's still boring as fuck and this wont get me back into playing it, just nice to know more kids got caught and the ongoing drama is golden.

Half the reason I stopped playing TF2 as frequently was because I was getting tired of bumping into a LMAOBOX user in a Valve server 70% of the time. Nice to see that shit's finally dead.
