Though it does look pretty cool and remind me of Syringe jumping, which I wish was still a thing.
Maybe this was part of the Afterburner testing? We know they've been testing it since possibly LaW (Animations for rev-ing up a flamethrower could have pointed towards its blade spinning), and 100% confirmed for some sort of testing in Gun Mettle (Update page) and Halloween (texture optimization) Maybe the rev-ing up didn't work, so this was the second idea for the weapon.

I'd be all for a flamethrower that does minimal damage but has this ability. Something to let me just zoom around the map with the shotgun sounds like tons of fun.

That's what the Scout class is for. Why would you ever play Pyro for the shotgun usage?
I can't wait for the huge wave of lmaobox users, I caught one using the free version yesterday while recording footage. He was quickly votekicked from the server but yeah...
I really hope Valve has something in place for cheaters, I really fucking do, especially since these days they try to pass themselves off as legit players now instead of breaking the limits & trolling people.

About time too, if they actually are doing that. When I first started playing TF2 loading times were ridiculous (fault of crap PC), and since then the loading times have gone down but in the past year the lag has gotten so bad I have to set everything to medium or lower or have a choppier framerate than I did in the CSGO Beta.
That would be neat if we get a TF2 fixing update.
Even on my new computer I get fps drop.

Gunslinger doesn't make engie 1:1 copy of solly, while that bhop thing with shotgun makes pyro scout with more hp.
