Gunslinger doesn't make engie 1:1 copy of solly, while that bhop thing with shotgun makes pyro scout with more hp.
I think the idea just needs to be tweaked, but then again the video does have 500 ammo rather than 200. Really all it would need is to function like a blast jump and actually require you to face and aim opposite of the direction you need to go and I think it would do well in actual play.
why does anyone actually believe this realtalk twitter
I've gotten a lot better drops from this than gun mettle.
It could have to do with the changes they made to the probability of which skin tier you get but yeah ive been getting way better skin drops/uncrates. I got a strange minimal wear medigun and a few low tier factory new skins during Tough Break. Before that update happened i never got any factory new skins and constantly unboxed dupes from stuff like gargoyle cases.
Gunslinger doesn't make engie 1:1 copy of solly, while that bhop thing with shotgun makes pyro scout with more hp.
I was trying to make a counterpoint by saying that different classes can have similar roles by mimicking the replied comment; that comment also appeared to suggest that shotgun pyro with airblast jumps was useless when the player could go scout instead. This fails to recognize the potential benefits of this playstyle (as you pointed out) and assumes that players cannot challenge themselves by using less than optimal playstyles for amusement.
why does anyone actually believe this realtalk twitter
I think everyone is just preparing for the delay storm, like Invasion.
why does anyone actually believe this realtalk twitter
Because so far none of his tweets proved to be wrong (last week delay, asian teams to i58, reason's new lineup,...) [editline]16th February 2016[/editline] But feel free to consider it an untrustworthy source if MM will come out on thurday.
why does anyone actually believe this realtalk twitter
Because Valve never tells us anything.

[editline]16th February 2016[/editline] But feel free to consider it an untrustworthy source if MM will come out on thurday.
"last week's delay" is a completely unverifiable event considering it's not proven there was ever intended to be anything released last week, and the inner workings of the competitive scene is completely and wholly separate from the inner workings of Valve.
"last week's delay" is a completely unverifiable event considering it's not proven there was ever intended to be anything released last week, and the inner workings of the competitive scene is completely and wholly separate from the inner workings of Valve.
It works off anonymous tips, and I'm guessing someone in the know in the beta(but not Valve themselves) are giving information. Conversely, why is there any reason NOT to believe? Flame/other people have already said last week was supposed to be a "gamechanger".
About time too, if they actually are doing that. When I first started playing TF2 loading times were ridiculous (fault of crap PC), and since then the loading times have gone down but in the past year the lag has gotten so bad I have to set everything to medium or lower or have a choppier framerate than I did in the CSGO Beta.
My computer has over 20 gigs of ram and can render a medium sized scene in Vray and texture in Substance designer/painter at the same time, but TF2 on it's own chugs. This is a fucking embarrassment

[t]http://i.imgur.com/1kTanAU.png[/t] I found a valve server located in Madrid. Were these just added?
I am 100% sure they were added at LEAST at Sunday. I picture my friend just coming into mumble and screaming "MADRID SERVERS WERE ADDED" because he's Portugal.
Bit of an odd choice for location, surely Luxembourg servers were good enough
Bit of an odd choice for location, surely Luxembourg servers were good enough
no.
Still no official russian Valve servers in existence. That's quite sad, since i know much, MUCH people that plays TF2 in Russia. (khm, most famous ones : Vorobey, Delfy, Eltorro64Rus (he's "gmodder", so you could not count him if you want)...) Just atleast 1-2 Moscow or Chelyabinsk (middle Russia city) servers would be an awesome gift for russian TF2 community, since the lowest ping i can get on official Valve servers right now is something around 40-50 (Stockholm are always have lowest ping rate as for me :D) [editline]17th February 2016[/editline] P.S why when i rated JPRAS post as "optimistic" it said "thanks dickhead"?!
40-50 ping is pretty good, to be honest.
40-50 ping is pretty good, to be honest.
not just pretty good; it's fucking good. you can start complaining once you roll into the 100-120s
guys guys guys, my sources say we'll be getting some sort of major update in the next 365 days
guys guys guys, my sources say we'll be getting some sort of major update in the next 365 days
Sarcastic shitposting is still shitposting.
for real though why are we trusting some random-ass dude on twitter for competitive update information? I don't get the hype here
not just pretty good; it's fucking good. you can start complaining once you roll into the 100-120s
People think 100-120 is a bad ping? Why? The delay is almost unnoticeable. 150-170 is when you can feel it. 200+ is just unbearable shit.
People think 100-120 is a bad ping? Why? The delay is almost unnoticeable. 150-170 is when you can feel it. 200+ is just unbearable shit.
It's all relative. A person like myself who consistently averages around 30-50 ping find anything about 80 unplayable.
It's all relative. A person like myself who consistently averages around 30-50 ping find anything about 80 unplayable.
I heard B4nny complaining about 50 ping for the icon scale on the scoreboard
It's all relative. A person like myself who consistently averages around 30-50 ping find anything about 80 unplayable.
80 is where it gets noticeable, but not quite yet unplayable.
80 is where it gets noticeable, but not quite yet unplayable.
If you're a comp-airshooting sniper headshot machine it is changes a lot.
It's really bad when it gets above 200. That's around the time when the already broken melee registering becomes literally impossible to deal with. Usually I can work around 100, long as it's not sniper. Guess it depends on what you're used to.
If you're a comp-airshooting sniper headshot machine it is changes a lot.
Mostly for the other team. Playing sniper with high ping is actually advantageous as you become impossible to countersnipe.
Playing on the Sydney servers I average around 30-70 ping which is completely unnoticable to me. Even 80 isn't that bad but anywhere upwards of that it's noticeable to me.
Luxembourg is a stable 40 - 60 for me, shame Luxembourg likes to die randomly and say there is an error when trying to connect to them. This error occurred during Gun Mettle and now partially through Tough Break for me. Forces me to play on Stockholm, and I get a stuck on permanent 80 ping there, and the hitreg begins to show.
