What's saddening is that you had to kick that many people in what I assume was an hour or two at most.
I swear the amount of Delfy/NISLT's fanbase that doesn't do anything but go from server to server, griefing teams and breaking maps with persistence and dedication, is really getting out of hand. I feel like it's gotten way worse in the last couple of years, or it's just me spending more time on Valve servers.
Delfy's been around for many years, you'd only run into someone imitating what they saw on his channel (a tele-trap or an exploit on a new map) very rarely, and they'd get kicked quickly on the many active community servers with an admin. It used to not feel like he had a whole army of imitators ready to pull off the exploits they saw on his channel at every opportunity and with the intention of doing it for hours.
But now that most people only play on Valve servers with their lack of moderation and a shoddy voting system with players that just don't pay attention or vote at all, the amount of little griefing shits that only seem to get a kick out of harrowing entire servers instead of playing normally seems to be increasing rapidly.
I'll stop now, this really isn't MUS material, I just hope we got some sorely needed map fixes soon. That spot on Vanguard and Borneo's dropped weapon glitch especially, they're way overdue.
It's been many weeks since the map was last patched, and it seems like a rather simple mapping fix that has nothing to do with the quantum crouch exploit.
I submitted changes to snowycoast a couple of weeks ago, and got a response that they'd be releasing it "soon." I suspect that those changes, as well as any that have been done to Vanguard or other maps, were delayed due to whatever they're doing for competitive and are just being bundled as part of whatever else is in that update.
Not sure whether to post this here, but is Vanguard's author aware of a very exploitable way to get out-of-bounds below the ramp at the 2nd point? Maybe someone can contact him if he's associated/friends with anyone in MUS?

Pretty much every server running the map I've played on in the last month has had a griefing Engie douchebag camping there, trying to teletrap people in that area. It's ridiculous, and 4 out of 5 votekick attempts fail due to not enough people voting, even if I take the time to explain why I'm starting the vote and ask nicely for everyone on the same team to vote Yes.
Really, these pests almost always get away with griefing their own team for an hour straight if they feel like it, the mapper/Valve haven't patched it in nearly a month, and nobody can be arsed to vote or even pays attention to chat it seems. I'm getting cynical to the point that I believe the general playerbase on Valve servers deserves to suffer everything they complain about, but don't do jack shit to prevent.
Yeah, I believe Fubar's sent out an update for it. Waiting on Valve, I believe.

I would argue the increased amount of griefing players actually forces VALVe's hand in fixing it much faster than if it were 1 or 2 players doing it.
I'm not saying having to endure such shitwads is a good thing, but sometimes things like this is the only way to get VALVe to take action instead of sitting on the sidelines, hoping the community polices itself.
It was funny when Team Roomba did it. Now it's just obnoxious.
Aren't the main 6's classes chosen because of their mobility, not just their damage output? There's no denying that Heavy has better damage output than Scout or Soldier, but he's too slow to keep up with the fast-paced format of 6s, which is why he's stuck defending last.
It's because of the combination of both and the way they enchance each other (advanced mobility with formiddable default damage = more opportunities and ways to deal said damage) and that's exactly why these classes are considered generalists. The problem is that the specialists can't keep up with them not because the generalists are too good (though can be argued with high-level Scout), but because half the specialists suck at what they're supposed to specialise in.
It was funny when Team Roomba did it. Now it's just obnoxious.
That's because Team Roomba eventually stopped doing it, and now we look back and laugh at how dumb it actually was. When it was current it was probably just as obnoxious as these stupid follow-the-leader Youtube kiddies are today.
Also that was back before Free-to-Play, so there were significantly less people who wanted to grief actually being able to grief.
I don't know if truktruk usually names his streams things like "Hello. It's me, Thursday", but with him and flame saying that, along with b4nny saying "CIGAHY - Can I get a Hell Yeah?" makes me think there's something today...
or it could just be random cryptic tweets and titles that i overhype like a tard
Tonight's the night?
Tonight's the night?
Tonight is never the night [sp]Ihopeimwrong[/sp]

The MUS Cycle, 1) Someone says "Tonight's the night". 2) Everyone gets there hopes up. 3) Night comes, we wait for the update to drop. 4) It doesn't drop. 5) Repeat.

If not tonight, I predict we will get some kinda update tomorrow or Monday.
about if it will have a delay:
to be fair they sent out an email to a lot of us saying 'this week or next' the week of my tweet. that then turned into 'in the next week OR SO'... 2 weeks later.
this is about as valve time as valve time gets.
-flame, the hype lord
20 days without update.
Q1 is notorious for never getting a major update. But maybe...
So flames been hyping Thursday, and valve said that they would release a vanguard update "soon", does anyone have anymore facts to help prove its gonna come out tonight? [sp]itsnot[/sp]
See you next week guys. Again.
inb4 everyone gets sad then BOOM! update..
my hopes are still up
Alright everyone lets start the ritual
''Its not gonna happen omm its not gonna happen
But you may still belive but its not gonna happen''
Yeah, we still have a good hour or two
Where the fuck is the next chapter of the comic lmao
Just be patient.
Play other games or watch a movie or something.
The update will come when it comes. It won't take any longer if you do other things.
