just play some tf2 lol
But we're the valve fans who are the least patient.... who am I kidding? we'd go nuts over a ini file that has the word "hl3" in it
Where the fuck is the next chapter of the comic lmao
Comic? What comic?
you guys get so antsy and disappoint yourselves almost every thursday jesus christ forget everything about tf2 and go read a book or fellate yourself or something for a few hours and come back later. hyping yourself up with no evidence whatsoever is the worst thing to do for a game, especially tf2 since like 90% of all updates are underwhelming
you guys get so antsy and disappoint yourselves almost every thursday jesus christ
Granted Valve did say it'd be most likely this week so there's atleast some ground to base it off of :\
Both EricS and Jill (admins of the comp group) are currently online atm. This is one of the only instances of both of them being online at the same time around this time. Then again I'm desperate.
Where the fuck is the next chapter of the comic lmao
I legit couldn't care less about the MM update, I just want to read the next fucking comic. And Heavy better kick some serious bad guy ass. Every time there's a big fight scene, the comic just cuts away or just shows Soldier doing something silly.
Granted Valve did say it'd be most likely this week so there's atleast some ground to base it off of :\
A lot of times that doesn't always mean it's going to happen the week what with valve time and all.
A lot of times that doesn't always mean it's going to happen the week what with valve time and all.
I honestly would prefer they announce no date if they have any thoughts on delays... I mean being quiet is one thing but promising another and being incorrect is a whole another boat (granted they didn't promise but they shoulda' kept their mouth shut if they didn't want us to be excited)
I legit couldn't care less about the MM update
Honestly, me too. I don't think it's going to help this game. It feels like it's been long overdue and now it's kinda too late for me to get excited or interested.
Well no update... Looks like more time on GW 2 to help wait it out
It doesn't look like we'll get it today/this week, but it's interesting that the devs are still online.
It may be that the intended date was today, but they ran into something and are trying to fix it. We can either get a patch in the next 30 mins or so or possibly early tomorrow akin to Smissmas 2013.

3 weeks away from March 12 update anniversary, which means 1 full year without new Stranges.
3 weeks away from March 12 update anniversary, which means 1 full year without new Stranges.
that must be the game-changing part of the update!
flame regarding his statements: https://www.reddit.com/r/tf2/comments/47mubh/why_are_we_listening_to_the_mattr0d_guy_again_i/d0e46lc
Why would anyone ever take a Valve timetable at face value? Valve has almost never been on time with anything at all, and it's ignorant to think this time would be any different.

I can affirm it will be more than that, and I will stand by that statement. The problem is you're going to have to wait and see until 'next week or so' like me and everyone else. I made the mistake of taking their time frame literally.
:quotes:
3 weeks away from March 12 update anniversary, which means 1 full year without new Stranges.
well every cosmetic this year was available as a strange, along with the Invasion weps
well every cosmetic this year was available as a strange, along with the Invasion weps
The Batman ones aren't strange, and the Invasion Weps are reskins. He obviously means the weapons that don't have stranges already...
I just want my strange panic attack already.
3 weeks away from March 12 update anniversary, which means 1 full year without new Stranges.
Stranges, like pretty much anything from before Gun Mettle, are dead. It should be abundantly clear at this point that we're done getting new craftable hats, Stranges, Strangifiers, Festives, hats without stupid rarity based text, or pretty much anything that we would have otherwise gotten had Valve not embarked on the new CS based direction they did with GM. At this point we're almost certain to not get anything outside of Cases with skins and hats, taunts that are only available at Mann Co, and campaign passes that continually sell worse then the once prior. And it sucks because they could have brought about these new things in a way that wasn't completely at odds and different from what already existed, but rather than try to keep the game consistent, they seem to just want to inject the CS model and say to hell with everything people actually liked that already was here. It's infuriating.
I really want paintable booties.
i want a paintable mining light

Tf2 fans seem to have a massive unreasonable hateboner for Overwatch, but Blizzard actually communicates and can actually keep a damn deadline. Heck the lead developr of the game takes the time to respond to specific detailed feedback I love tf2, but the reason why I am far more hyped for Overwatch than anything tf2 related, is that with Overwatch I feel like the people making it actually care and are passionate about the game, with tf2 it feels like valve halfasses everything and does the bare minimum.
The Batman ones aren't strange, and the Invasion Weps are reskins. It's infuriating.
After the sales and controversy of Tough Break, I expect the next campaign to much different. If there's anything Valve does that's right, they listen to feedback. They're working on performance, put Snowplow in the game despite outright saying they didn't want it, lowered the tier system for Tough Break, and put Taunts in the Mann Co Store after Invasion's controversy. Hopefully after this update we'll go back to traditional festives, stranges, and the older ways of how TF2 was handled. I imagine if the next update is just another campaign the sales will only dwindle. I know for a fact I wouldn't buy another pass if they didn't fix things up, and a whole bunch would agree
You guys think overwatch/tf2 will be a league of legends/dota 2 comparison in terms of popularity?
I know, it was a joke on how bad the stranges were. Hell, we got a Strange taunt, which I found pretty weird.
Wow man youve pressed your taunt key so many times :0
There's no way to ever see what another Player's level is on the taunt. Really. You can't inspect it, and showing it on your steam profile doesn't include the level. What a complete waste of money
