If it's like tradeups, there will be a limit on how much you can doodle
I think doodling is a nice fun touch, worst case a few dicks n butts but still a fun little doodle minigame
Holy cow. This looks really neat.
GG valve

That is, if sv_pure isn't active
[editline]1st March 2016[/editline]
About these craftable StatClocks, they better come up with craftable Strangifier ASAP, cos I need it more
uhm, I'll pass.
So is it possible at all to have a kill tracker for any other grade that can't be unboxed? Having a tracker on my Coffin Nail Rocket Launcher would be great.
Also it appears that the Heavy's fist swinging sounds have changed but was undocumented.
For some reason Valve changed the regenerate.wav file (Resupply cabinet sound) and it sounds really low quality now. :what:

It's only for the boxing gloves
Someone check if the custom kill sound works on sv_pure servers
Someone check if the custom kill sound works on sv_pure servers
They don't unfortunately on sv_pure 1. Which is really dumb because I want my Thronebutt killsound.
EDIT: If you DO have a custom killsound and enter a server with sv_pure on, it breaks the killsound. I've been hearing this ear wrenching gong sound instead of like the default ding sound for a while now.

Then someone will setup a script that auto-draws "Get Good, Get Lmaobox!" and Valve will permantly disable the feature. But if anything the majority of it will just be scribbling to the point where no one cares.
I can't help but feel like people that were wise enough to buy tons of Freelance-grade weapons of lower wear levels off the Market right as the update hit, are now making a mint re-selling them for 5-6 times the price. Buy tons for 4-5 cents a piece, sell them for 20+ to people scrambling to use them in Stat Clock crafting.
Also, the price of the Gentlemanne's Collection Civilian-grade stuff has skyrocketed, now that they can be strangified. Stuff that was worth 20-30 cents in FN form is now nearly a dollar/euro.
I suppose it's cool that you can strangify those common drops from non-case collections, but I'll be damn how quickly the prices/costs to do it rise if you don't immediately act with an hour after an update like this hits (which is, ofc, always at 2-3 AM for us Europeans).

same with stickylauncher reloading
Moving forward, only tradable items can be gift wrapped. Items that are currently gift wrapped can be delivered regardless of the tradability of the contents of the gift.
This is bullshit, i won't be able to afford summer shades now.
Might wanna tell them about Xbow's crit sound
It's still the old one.
people can use the mouse to doodle on the screen like the trade-up envelopes
This is the moment Dota 2's minimap was training me for.
Why didn't they just make a stat-track clock for each grade of the non-strange skins instead of civilian grade only?
So, this means that there's going to be extremely highly priced stat-trak Top Shelf Miniguns, for example, formed from 1000 stat-trak civs that have been traded up to their higher grades and then to the top.
Not only would that cost a lot of stranges (money, too) but if someone were dedicated enough, this could almost destroy the market for civilian grades alone, considering the civilian grades are only obtainable from contracts, which after a certain date expire - unlike the cases.
This is bullshit, i won't be able to afford summer shades now.
Its very odd that Valve would only make the treasure hats tradable when its obvious that people like to trade other items too.
Surprised the Summer Shades, Flip Flops and Summer Hat weren't made tradable too. The Shades itself are just as popular as the treasure hunt hats.

The Summer Hat and Flip Flops are tradable, so gift wrap is not essential.

I was really hoping we'd get some maps updated. I would like maps like hoodoo, 2fort, turbine, viaduct, dustbowl, sawmill, etc reworked for a more fun gameplay. Some maps are stalematey, others are too linear, others are just imbalanced and favorable to one side like sawmill. I'd really like to see the pro turbine and viaduct in the game.
It seems commando and freelances are also able to be strangified. You can trade up the strangified skins akin to an unboxed weapon and get a natively strange weapon.
oh man, imagine if they made it so dustbowl wasn't a hallway simulator anymore. that'd be wonderful
Its been too long since Ive played actual competitive
Cant wait to start playing again.

If i trade up 10 gentlemanne strange civ weapons i'll get a strange mercenary from the gentlemanne collection or a random strange mercenary?
Also what about the wear level, is also random?

You would get one random weapon from the next tier up in the collection. So yes, you'd get one from the Gentlemanne's Collection. Wear level is decided by the weapons you use in the trade-up process; so if you use all Factory New weapons in the trade-up, you'll get a Factory New output.
What if a server owner enables tf_competitive_mode 1 (that might be the wrong command) on their server, and they get ranks?
