!!!
On one hand, this is pretty handy. On the other hand, might be too late to address the rarity of the SF15 items. Maybe has a chance of hitting the Invasion items?
Wonder what that mystery gift is.
Updated several weapons sounds with consistency fixes from community member Mateusz Grzesik. I wonder what weapons those could be.
I'm sad since i cannot call the zatoichi "kritana" anymore :v:

So are there festive weapons or not?
My opinion on the balance changes: "All-Class" changes are good although I imagine that outlines might get annoying after a while Desapping nerf is only good if it affects the homewrecker Tide Turner, Chargin Targe and Splendid Screen: These weapons are actually buffed, HOWEVER, they are much more skill-based to use now and should be more fun to both use and fight against Half Zatoichi: Changes make it usable on Soldier, not damning if you get a kill stolen from you as either class and make it far less polarizing. In play, I think that it's actually a "sidegrade" to it's former self and thus not a true nerfing, but the way it's designed now is fair Reserve Shooter: Still dumb in conjunction with the Degreaser, the Degreaser nerf to airblasts only hurts the ability to crowd control with the combo and still makes it kind of stupid-good against light classes that are by themselves Panic Attack: Still useless at low HP, but should be about Family Business levels of usability at medium health or higher Mad Milk/Jarate/Airblast: Rewarding the player for helping out teammates shouldn't have been necessary in an ideal world where every player is cooperative, but these changes should make the more selfish players at least be more helpful in this regard rather than saving their ammo for themselves Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol: Change is weird, but not game-breaking. I'm not really sure why a vampiric pistol is in the game, but it should be around Winger to Pistol levels of useful now Wrap Assassin: Good change, actually seems fun Beggar's Bazooka: Should make it less braindead to use, still is going to remain dumb and be the best Soldier option with kritzkrieg, though. Concheror: You basically have a pocket Medic now all the time. This is good for roaming soldiers but is going to make it incredibly dumb to fight Black Box + Concheror unless the health regen penalty on taking damage makes it around 0 gained. Very likely the best Soldier secondary now, and it was vying for that already. BASE Jumper: rest in peace, afterburn jank Market Gardener: Whatever, I guess. Makes it not a straight upgrade to stock on nocrit servers. Air Strike: Change should make it much harder to steamroll as a Kritz pocket now. Cleaner's Carbine: change seems fun and more skill-based Cozy Camper: If the Danger Shield didn't allow you to survive quickscopes at full health, this would be ridiculously good. Best secondary now for roaming Huntsman users and best secondary for medieval. Flamethrower: No longer a straight downgrade to Degreaser in practice, finally Degreaser: Puff and sting is now way more situational, but still seems possible. No longer as good for M1ing spies to death now. I really like this change as I always hated the degreaser's usability in being viable in almost every flamethrower context, this should reward players who actually are playing Pyro well and hurt those that are just doing memorized mouse switch routines and spamming M1 everywhere, making it a bit less braindead in that regard. Phlogistinator: Knockback jank is removed and damage penalty not being present make it more usable now without screwing over people for physics quirks related to knockback. EDIT: Wow the taunt is ridiculous now Axtinguisher: Necessary buff. Was useless without the Degreaser before due to them nerfing the wrong weapon in the combo in the past. Uber setup buff is amazing and doesn't punish players that commit to Medic in the later half of setup so hard. Amputator: Love the taunt buff Crusader's Crossbow: Incredibly fun buff Vaccinator: Good changes, build up penalty on overheal shouldn't matter because it already gains ubers absurdly fast. The heal reward on proper resist before was moderately unnecessary and most people didn't even notice it was a thing, anyway. Quick-Fix: Prevents backcaps with quick fix scouts from being easy. Dead Ringer: Indifferent Spy-Cicle: Surprise it took this long to fix again, they've tried fixing this twice, already Fists of Steel: Makes it better for it's intended use Gloves of Running Urgently: Makes sense, makes it less of an upgrade to fists, I suppose. Warrior's Spirit: Finally isn't useless . . . . assuming that the damage penalty is when active and not passive. If it's passive, then it's actually even more useless. Eviction Notice: Should make it easier to chase players like the recent changes. Not sure if damage penalty is good or even necessary aside from making the fists not look bad in comparison Claidheamh Mòr: Kind of a boring change, it's now a poorman's version of the Half-Zatoichi. Removing the health penalty was a good change. Persian Persuader: Change seems moderately awkward but should make it more usable with grenades. Splendid Screen: Passive shield mechanic buffs will probably make these changes act as a de facto buff. Splendid Screen + Persian Persuader might be ridiculous as it's basically 3x charge rate Tide Turner: general shield buffs will compensate for these nerfs Chargin Targe: The general shield buff for removing debuffs when charging should make the loss of afterburn immunity fine, blast resistance was actually absurd if you were a user of grenade launchers with shields Ullapool Caber: Not sure how to feel, seems like a fair set of buffs and nerfs Loose Cannon: Should be a sidegrade to stock now, less unpleasurable to deal with being hit Overall, generally good changes. Loch N Load and Darwin's Danger Shield are still too good and will dominate matchmaking since they didn't change them. Natascha isn't overpowered, but is still in a very unpleasurable state to fight against, especially with resistance and if they are pocketed. Stickybomb Launcher is still oppressive, but I wasn't expecting them to nerf it at this point, unfortunately.
Could the mystery gift possibly be a keyless festive crate? I don't see no keyhole/lock on it. Also, it's a 'gift'.
Is the Claidheamh Mor the first weapon to be changed completely? It doesn't seem to have anything in common with its first iteration, something Valve had always kept in mind when rebalanciong weapons.
Soda P
What's with the old weapons being updated other than soundfiles in the Accepted section?
The art on the postcards are amazing. I love them so much.

Okay, so no festives. What a shame :c
[T]http://i.imgur.com/QN9pXH9.jpg[/T] "You cannot yet open this gift." Hm.
Oh, looks like we didn't get the Assault Cannon
[T]http://i.imgur.com/QN9pXH9.jpg[/T] "You cannot yet open this gift." Hm.
Wow, looks like Santa is running Valve.
Okay, so no festives. What a shame :c
Things could be worse, we could have had tiered festives. ...that, or festives may come back next week or so in a new crate - like how Gun Mettle Cosmetic Cases came half way through the update.
Am I the only guy who can't actually accept the contracts that I get, there's no button to accept or anything for me.
thank you peoples who voted <:
With those performance upgrades, seeing words like "Massive" and "Eliminated" makes my pants tight.
Looking at the schema, seems to be some melee hit sounds being changed. Likely, any melee that made a bottle sound was fixed. The way the diff is laid out I can't really tell what weapons they are, but they previously had no sounds assigned at all, so I assume they're all class melees.
Okay, so no festives. What a shame :c
They are almost completely confirmed for me.
Added Smissmas 2015 Mystery Gift. ... Have you been Naughty or Nice?
