The global weapon switch speed change was a "whole whopping" 0.17 seconds. And it's a huge deal.
The Axtinguisher's just pitiful at this point. With the crits doing 130 damage, a degreaser can actually deal that amount of damage in the time it'd take to light up the foe, switch weapons, and swing the Axtinguisher.
Hell, the fucking Backscratcher makes a better Axtinguisher at this point.
Meanwhile the brain-dead Phlogistinator becomes even more brain-dead.

Yeah, I am feeling either Monday or Tuesday. Some still think these will contain cosmetics, but it's probably just full of festivizers like one poster mentioned earlier.
I have a feeling these mystery gifts will have old festives/cosmetics inside them

I haven't seen this pointed out yet - I really, [I]really[/I] have no idea what's up with Asteroid at this point. I was almost sure they were gonna throw it in the campaign as the Valve-made map alongside community ones (like Powerhouse in GM), but it's still stuck in Beta limbo, being 90% done, with only a portion of the map left to artpass...
And since I wouldn't realistically expect a major update before June/July (despite Tough Break ending on last day of March; maybe we'll see a Matchmaking Beta in the spring?), it means that Asteroid will have been 2 years in Beta development in July, and sitting for over 1.5 years in an almost done state (gamemode rules and timers, HUD, layout, models, textures, props, everything's almost done) on the Beta servers with no changes or word on whether the map was axed or not.
Cactus Canyon's still far from done in its Beta state, but I find it hard to believe they would decide to scrap Asteroid after pouring so much work into it and being almost done with it. Why would they tease Asteroid with an easter egg on Powerhouse then, too?
They're not seriously waiting for some space-themed plot development (last issue of the current comic series maybe?) to tie Asteroid into?
What also saddens me is that the gamemode seemed to be fairly well received by many (as a kind of improvement on the staleness of CTF) and had a dedicated playerbase in the initial months, but with the map being in development for so long and limited to Beta servers, the whole gamemode is in danger of already being forgotten and having lost its novelty appeal even if it does get officially released at some stage.

Also, the Market prices on Cases really fell quickly this time around - only people in the initial hours managed to sell their cases for like 5+ bucks.
This morning, ~12 hours after the update's release, my first two cases went for like 80 and 40 euro cents respectively.
Basically, it seems getting your Campaign Pass money back, or even making some profit with which to buy the new skins later on after their prices fall, is far less likely this time around, unless you had the chance to play, do contracts and quickly sell the new cases for steep prices in the first few hours after the update hit.
Might sound greedy, but I was hoping that the cases would be easy money back or even a small profit in the first few days. Seems everyone's caught onto that since GM.
Might also be the fact that Cases have been dropping correctly since the start, unlike Gun Mettle, where they weren't dropping for the first week, creating super-high demand.

Honestly it's hard to believe that they aren't finished at this point, I believe that they are going to tie into a specific update that's just keeps getting delayed (now that we got more hints that War is still a thing with this update they're waiting for is probably War).

Those Spy aerobics lines... I think Dennis Bateman went a wee bit overboard with the ''full-on grade-A perv mode'' when doing those... I can just see all the SFM stuff that mixes that with Scout's butt stuff lines...
