Secondary that increases max metal limit, but decreases the amount the dispenser gives?
I haven't actually released the mini teleporter on the workshop, maybe I should? :v: (it doesn't even have lods nor the other team colors)
Shame the bagpipes sound deliberately bad. While it's funny the first time, as far as long-term appeal goes actually good music would be much more enjoyable, not to mention easier on the ears. I'd much rather hear this on a server than this Still possible they could change it I guess, but considering they already got the new voice line, I doubt it.
My bod- Wallet is ready for these new taunts
Nah, Valve Studio Orchestra's resident bagpipe player is just rubbish.:v:
Shame the bagpipes sound deliberately bad.
The new frying pan :suicide:
I haven't actually released the mini teleporter on the workshop, maybe I should? :v: (it doesn't even have lods nor the other team colors)
In the interest of uniformity it would make sense to add the mini-teleporters to the Quick Draw Logistics set. Throw in a revolver like this with a few antenas and a capacitor added and you'd have basically the rest of the battle engie loadout. I only suggest putting Teleport on PDA and Dispenser on secondary because allies teleported is one of the stats the strange PDA tracks.
it could trigger the bad melody on a % chance.
it could trigger the bad melody on a % chance.
I was thinking it should be health based. The lower the health you have, the more of a chance you get the bad one. That or if you recently taunted with the bottle.
How would a minitele work? Minisentries are meant to be disposable and dispensers may work like that as well (like less metal to build but a set amount of health and ammo) but teles are supposed to stay up and move teammates for as long as possible.

Or maybe it gets damaged per teleport.

The thought I had was to make it where the cooldown time is slightly longer than that of a level 1, however, 2 entrances can be built. The idea is to make it where the entrances can be built at separate spawns in the event they change (as in 5cp) or can be built together at one spawn for something a little faster but still inferior to a level 3 teleporter. Though I could see some logistical problems with that.

Like using ammo? Or even more, this destroys after x people uses it
Distance limit? So you could only really tele from Base to Mid at most ...but might be a little troublesome to find the perfect amount that would work with the most amount of maps
Really fast to build but longer recovery time (more than level 1 tele)
Could somebody recap what went on this week? Read so.ething about leaked taunts?
Could somebody recap what went on this week? Read so.ething about leaked taunts?
Yeah, on tf official yt channel there are unlisted video about a new group, a new demo and a new engie taunt
Could somebody recap what went on this week? Read so.ething about leaked taunts?
Just today the Team Fortress YouTube channel added 3 new unlisted videos to the taunt playlist. The fact they're still recording new voice lines with the same people after 8 years is just amazing. You can also hear they're getting older, especially with Schwartz and Goodeve
Like always with Valve...
Like always with Valve...
You know that phenomenon where when you get older, your perception of time goes faster? Valve has cured us of that
Maybe it builds fast and teleports as fast as a level 2/3 but the exit gets auto-destroyed after a few teleports? Or maybe it gets damaged per teleport.
I like the idea of charging the tele with metal.

There's hundreds of voice lines for specific Halloween costumes that you pretty much never hear, but still no lines whatsoever that has Medic talking about whoever he's healing or him getting assists, most classes have no lines for a whole bunch of specific weapons that could use them, that kind of thing. I love that they're still recording lines, but it'd be nice if they got them a few more lines for common situations rather than a lot for very uncommon ones.
I dont know about you guys, but I'm watching that bad pipes taunt for the 10th time and I still find it amusing enough to make me grin.
Then why say anything in the first place That's like holding a present in somebody's face and going "You can have it ON CHRISTMAS DAY and not until then I bought if you but you can't even see it I'm not telling you anything about it though" while you're rubbing it on their face.
My point was that the items have already been selected that will be added. So if nobody/somebody/everybody got the mail by now, chances are yours didn't get selected.
Actually contributors are in the dark like everyone else. They find out when the update happens.
I got map in during halloween and i wasn't in the dark about it. I think it applies only to items.
I got map in during halloween and i wasn't in the dark about it. The wait until the update is gonna be murder for myself and other cosmetic contributors. Crossing my fingers that my ghost buddy gets in. EDIT: All this talk about the Smissmas update being big and possibly having a campaign and Smissmissions make me optimistic that it will drop this week. I figure a big update needs some space between now and the Holidays to iron out the usual infestation of bugs.
