They just don't copy the file that was submitted to workshop. If something is broken, i think it will get fixed. They require all files, even the vmf source which is natural since if the author suddenly disappears and map needs to be updated, they can do it instead of the author. And I also think that the update will arrive today. If not, next tuesday, since the sales presumably start at 22nd.

To be fair the engineer as a character has quite a bit of vocal range, He's normally quite clear spoken/yelling when doing positive lines, but people seem to recall his mumbling/growling tone much more, so when you hear him saying full sentences it might not sound how you'd expect. and then there's just days where the actors aren't feeling quite upto it/give poor performances like MVM heavy lines.

Demoman and Engineer especially (former probably because his voice is so throaty), but Scout, Soldier (except screaming stuff), Pyro, Heavy, Medic, Sniper, and Spy should be fine. Medic in particular was always the class with the least voicelines (not including Pyro) while he's such a vital teamplayer and could really use a few more shouts towards his patients. It bothered me that they got Robin Atkin Downes back after years and years of Medic having no new lines, only for him to get a hundred Halloween lines and nothing else.

Taunts, payload update, etc. But I get where you're coming from : I'd appreciate if Valve would take some time to have some utility lines recorded for Medic, such as "wait for me"'s and other situationnal audio cues, and it would've made sense if they'd done it after such a long hiatus.
Hopefully with all these new taunt lines they finally got to recording lines for Pass Time. Some class banter would be amazing.

Thou if the conversation joke is an overlying theme, think there's a chance for more teamwork related missions (if this is the gun mettle 2.0)? the only ones i could remember that involved working together were the Ubering heavy/soldier and airblasting fires out.

I'm curious why all the taunt demonstrations took place on dustbowl. All of gun mettles ones took place on powerhouse, and the only other taunt demo was on foundry and it wasn't for a major update. Makes me wonder if these are even for a major update, or rather just another taunt update. The only thing leading me to believe it would be for a major update is the timing, given the fact they already ''uploaded' those videos yet the next update would clearly be the smissmass one

Judging that the background is Dustbowl and not a new map (unlike Gun Mettle), we can conclude that this is a "leak". That's my take on why it's on Dustbowl. Because they don't want to spoil any new maps if we are getting a new campaign.
You know, with all these taunts we have, it would be nice for Valve to update the Taunt Menu so we can equip more then 8 at once I mean, we have 12 all class taunts so far. With Scout and Sniper both having 3 class taunts each. Making a total of 15 taunts for scout and sniper. Yet we can only Equip 8 of them at once. (If you have every taunt) And seeing as we are going to get 3 more taunts soon..
Isn't Dustbowl one of the maps in the leaked competitive rotation? Maybe that's why.
Maybe they are updating older maps? just a idea.

(That's a sarcasm) You can't use every item in the game at once, dude! Deal with it!
Just noticed, that the RED logo does not rotate above the control point in the Mannrobics trailer. Checked it, it rotates by default even in SFM, so it's not like they forgot to add an animation to it.
Since they've already got ahold of the voice actors to do lines for taunts, I'm thinking that the "Pass to me!" voice command for Passtime to get actual lines to go along with it now, but that's just conjecture at this point. I don't feel like they'd track down all of the voice actors to do voices just for three taunts in one update when they could easily reuse old ones like they've been doing, methinks that we're getting even more voice lines, but for what is anybodies guess. Maybe it'll have to do with whatever new contracts we have, or maybe this 'conversation' aspect?

They probably knocked out the new taunt lines and new contract lines, and snuck in the Passtime voicework on the side.

So, new Dustbowl hype?
I'm sure creating a non-awful version of Dustbowl would be too much. The universe's equilibrium would be destabilized, causing our untimely death. If they want to port something from csgo, they should add songs. I want the MvM theme to play whenever I topscore.
