After defeating Grey Mann once and for all, Heavy decided to retire as a mercenary. Shooting people just wasn't as fun as it once was, along with the fact that it was getting more difficult as he got older. As such, he decided to settle down and work for a sports television network. He has a comfy little cubicle on the first floor which some have dubbed "The Dog House." Even though Heavy's no longer a killer, he wears his bullet belt to work to remember the good times he's had even when told explicitly not to. His co-workers grudgingly accept him bringing it every day.
