Does this work, am I really stretching it or is there a much better item combination for that theme?
The ice pick could be replaced for an Afro or some such but your loadout has a lot of charm and character as is. Nice job!

That's one hell of a bottle opener.
There are not many good skins in the game, but what is there can be great.

Does anybody have any good loadout recommendations for the Prussian Pickelhaube? I got one in the market but I dont have many ideas for a good, stylish loadout with it

what I have in-game, very happy with how it came out
In my opinion, all items with paintability should cause the color potency to be faded slightly.
Or they could just tone back the strength of lime, pink, white and black and not ruin it for the normal paints.
It's not like desaturating them suddenly makes them not lime, etc

Sadly, the paint colours can't be properly updated. If they did change them, already painted items would remain as they are.

Can I have a source on this?
I'm legitimately curious as to why they'd waste data on six color digits (set of three for each team) over one key used to reference all the others unless they somehow thought there would eventually be more than 255 paints.

Probably not my place to say this but if you say "I have a solution," just post it!
So i found out the Scattergun is now trad-able so i'm actually gonna change the time for the contest to end at 5:30 PM.

There is absolutely no reason to store the RGB/whatever of what an item is painted on every item that is painted. Updating paints would be really easy to do assuming Valve went the smart route by storing each paint color rgb on the client associated with it's paint name, and then uses what the item's paint name is to look up the rgb stored on the client.

Yeah but let's be real here, this is valve we're talking about. Because if i'm not mistaken that's actually how paint is set up, that it has a paint value added as a hidden stat value.
I don't recall very well but i remember at one point this was an easily pulled off exploit to the point that there were a few "custom painted weapons" with colors not normally allowed circling around before be snubbed out by valve.
So gigazelle, you gonna announce the winner of the [del]Piss and Shit[/del] Lime and Pink paint contest?

Er, the paintable cow manglers seemed like an experiment that was accidentally patched out. The fact that only team color paints were allowed seemed like it was intentional to be paintable. Valve did remove the ability to apply paints, but the paints are still on those few glitched weapons. Although, when Valve updated the cow mangler's particles, they also removed how paint influenced the color of the shots, so much of the flashy effect of a painted cowmangler was lost.
The winner is NeoDement. Add me on Steam to claim your prizes.
Thank you! I have to be honest though; I had no idea there was a contest going on at the time. I just have a passion for Bart Simpson.

A girl, actually.
Why should it matter either way?
To me, it doesn't. I was using "guy" in a non-gendered way, because it doesn't occur to me to differentiate. Maybe there's a better term I could use that has the same feel? I dunno. "Person" sounds so stiff and unfriendly.

Making that silly loadout for the contest made me want to make this, where the colours of the hair and gameboy actually match up. Good idea, or is it a bit too much?

shame you cant actually paint the kilt in-game, it has paint-ability set up and everything, but its disabled from no real reason. sure maybe it fucks with team color, but like 90% of the paints are near impossible to see on it, same as the Black Watch.
