It's pretty safe to say that THQ is doing promos for all their big games. They've also pretty much moved to supporting all their games with Steamworks.
I can't wait to get my Demoman chainsaw sword.

Not available in the UK either.
THQ is to blame. :argh:
Is there a listing anywhere of the new voice lines that have been added? Finding them gradually ingame is ok, but I'd like to know what each one is so I can properly use it.
1. Every class's positive (C5) can make them laugh
2. Heavy and Sniper will gloat about their new weapons if you battlecry whilst holding an unlockable/promo weapon.
3. Battlecry while holding a melee weapon and staring someone down will unleash a very graphic description of the events about to unfold
4. Bottletaunt then swing your bottle for drunken gibberish
5. YOU CANT DRINK YOUR PAINTRAIN ANYMORE AAAAAAAA
(Oh also Heavy will shout something about fists and steel if you make a kill with a CERTAIN WEAPON)
Just lost out on 2 damn days of double-dose drops of death-dealers because I'm currently visiting my loving grandparents.

Also Scout has some damn fine fitting lines for throwing Mad Milk. I have no idea how it took this long for them to use it. One of them is even identical to Sniper's Jarate line "Yo, heads up!"
Some double jumping noises like "Look ma' !"
"There can only be one!" sometimes when you decap another player. It even has a special version just for Demoman v Demoman.
Some friendly lines between Demoman and Soldier when they kill eachother. Mostly referencing the war and their respect for eachother.
Some doctor following lines for most classes.
Most classes got lines for when they get an achievement
Most classes got payload moving lines
Most classes got "being hit by pee/"milk"" lines.
Heavy now makes noise when he punches
Scout says some new things for Crit-a-Cola and won't say Bonk stuff anymore
The "ah crap" and "work dammit!" for when you are being shot while drinking also now work
Heavy will sing after eating Dalokahs/Fishcake and this is exclusive to those weapons
No more ham flavored chocolate. It's also future proof, so edibles going forward won't have that either.
Same for "me bottle of scrumpy"
No more non-bat items being treated as bats by Scout.
Some minor caber stuff. It makes an explosion sound and Demoman says 2 new lines and "KABOOOOM" when he hits someone (actually it plays when he takes self damage, but it sounds the same to the user)
Sniper will sometimes say stuff about blood and bleeding when you get a bleedout kill with the Shiv
Pyro got a total of 4 new responses
Medic no longer has domination lines. He has a chance to play them randomly after every kill because he didn't have those types of lines. Trust me, this is better.
Spy has no unused lines anymore
Neither does Sniper
All classes have melee dares
"we're going to the train pain station to have some pain trains" or whatever that line is now randomly plays on a Demoman pain train kill.
"Who touched my gun!" now plays somewhere. I don't know where though.
And loads other stuff I'm forgetting, but you can tell it's a pretty robust addition to the game. And that doesn't even include the Engy lines they forgot to add, which they'll probably add soon (and maybe the Caber taunt).

YES PLEASE.
I like how when I'm double jumping around my scout will comment on how small people look down there.
STOP CRASHING YOU POS GAME!
BALHRAHRHAHGALALKJARLGHGHG

I love the maniacal laughing you get when you kill people as the medic.

Demoman kills Soldier
"...I love ya man..."
"Gonna kill you and I'm keep killin' you and I never, cause you're be dead and then I'm gonna kill you."
"Just bought two tickets to the gunshow, and I'm not givin' 'em to ya; I'm goin' with YOUR tickets (laughs, falls asleep.)."
Soldier kills Demoman
"You will not be missed."
"You were loud and ugly and now you're DEAD! Amen."
"You're dead, that's good, amen."
"Godspeed you magnificent bastard."
"You were good son, real good; maybe even the best."
So a fair mix of friendly and betrayal.
It seems as if TF2 is whoring itself out to advertise for other games. If it were smaller or lesser known indie games then I would have no problem with it, but it's just blatant advertising.

The only thing that worries me about the Scout's double-jump lines is the possible loss of stealth when, for example, you're in one-on-one situation in Arena mode and saying "I CAN SEE MY BASE FROM HERE" would throw the 'cheeky meatshot from behind' tactic out of the window.
It's actually not that detailed. It has the regular TF2-style rust and brushstrokes, and the handles and stuff is just so that is looks like the one ingame. Also, the time period wasn't taken that seriously to begin with, considering that we have teleporters and healing guns, the environments and weapons are nowhere close to the ones in the actual 60s, and that according to TF2's version of history, Shakespeare was a bodybuilder, a magical element made Australians geniuses, and Abraham Lincoln invented stairs and rocket jumping.
The teleporters and stuff all fit the spy-fi theme
this doesn't

Also the Gunslinger triplecombo isn't in game is it? Because I remember Engineer would yell YEEEEEHAAAAW! after triplecombo kill.

Sadly, it's not. Together with his small maniacal laugh when placing a MiniSentry.

Bummer. It made it more satisfying.

it only plays if you shoot after the double jump, and it has a very low chance of happening even after that.
Same for Crit-a-Cola. Scout won't say anything until you shoot, so you can still be stealthy.

I disagree, Running up behind people and emptying my scattergun into their poor confused flesh is a great way of getting free kills.
-stuff-
Also if you're playing Demoman and taunt with the bottle and after that use the Chargin Targe Demoman will say something drunkish. Though the sound always cuts off before he can say the line.

Nah, use the Bottle taunt then swing your bottle. Sound doesn't cut off for me.
Also, I haven't heard the Soldier/Demoman lines about caring/hating each other.
Do you have to kill like ten demos in a row or what.

Oohh :v: Well thanks for correcting me
You have to be on same teams as the WAR! Update. So Red Demo and Blue Soldier. It doesn't work viceversa.

Well that's very specific.
Oh you mean the chance my bad
It appears to be random. I tried it on tr_walkway and it looked random to me.
