I've come to the point where I realize it's stupid to get angry over promos, I just forget about them a week later and so does everyone else, what happened with the Witcher promos? Everyone forgot about them.
The only promos people care about are the Bills, Buds, and Max.

Magic doesn't really need promotion. It's a game known world wide. Monday Night Combat did need it, though.
I might buy Magic anyway, though. I used to collect the cards, and it's a pretty cool game, and if they change the Scout Goggles to Misc, which they hopefully will, then it's also some awesome promos.
Now, a game that DOES need a promo, and Valve even promissed a damn promo, is Dino Fucking D-Day. The game is freaking awesome, yet it's a dry as hell desert, which hardly ever have more than 10 online at a time. Valve did say in a Dino D-Day thread that they would be happy to do a promo for them.
But noooooo, obviously Red Faction needed a promo first, because that game is in such a need for it!

I don't think I've laughed so much from a game for a long time. The fact that it hardly got any players does ruin the experience slighty, which is a shame.
But when there finally is people online, It's just fantastic. Smashing people down with goats and knocking people up in the air with a headbutt is so amusing.

I saw the trailer, and it looks like it takes a whole 5 shots to kill a dinosaur... Enlighten me via PM about how the game is.

I personally don't believe the trailers justify the game. But, that's probably more because the trailer was fairly bad. As for dieing in 5 hits, that very much depends on the dinosaur you play, and the weapon used against you. But it's still a game in an early stage, so still lots of balancing there needs to be done. But it got potential. It also obviously depends on skill level, I'm not having a hard time playing dinosaur, I tend to top the board.
But, yeah, It's sort of hard for me to explain how it is. But, they have said there will be a free weekend soon, so you might want to give it a shot then.
