[t]http://i.imgur.com/aFQvmOL.png[/t] Ahh... good times. Anyway the scoreboard scrollbar seems to not work. Don't know why it exists; the scroll wheel didn't work and I couldn't mouse over it. Somehow I got it stuck halfway down the list once and wasn't able to go back up.
Oh look is in the kill feed. :smug:
cool image dude, did you make that in garry's mod or SFM
SFM, it was really quick. I didn't bother to pose any faces or hands.

I'll be swapping out the minigun for the tommy on Venice and I'll probably get some more planks and whatnot to cross the canals.

EDIT: also, I cannot find, for the life of me, the dedicated server setup tutorial. Can someone post the link if they have it?
[T]http://i.imgur.com/vBiDEjA.png[/T] Nothing says "Surfs Up!" quite like a big fucking grinder to kill people.
Would it be possible to replace the crates on the right with some sort of ramp? I remember stopping to hop up on it to get the tommy kind of broke the fast-pace always moving design of deathmatch. By the way, this particular weapon spot is really cool actually- if you strafe correctly, you can propel yourself high enough from the left access side enough to get it. It's hard to pull off, and I'm definitely not asking you to change it, it's kind of fun actually. And honestly the height disadvantage, the crate blocking off exits and otherwise long exit routes made that area enough of a hellhole already. I don't think it needs something as punishing as a grinder.
We presently have a bunch of people ingame if you want to join EDIT: So my game crashed when repairing my level 2 sentry and under fire by a solly medic combo. Hope the info helps with figuring out crashes. DOUBLE EDIT...: Found the dedicated server in previous posts.
I'm the pink one. Edit: BTW, good idea placing good weapons in places hard to reach
Sorry but I'm the hot pink mercenary around here. :pudge:
Quick question: how do I edit items_game.txt to add a new weapon into the game.
I'm starting a basic artpass on the good part of Placement, still changing gameplay on the other parts. [T]http://i.imgur.com/jdRueYa.png[/T] This area felt claustrophobic at best. I like the size of it but I wanted it to feel a bit more open. The solution of simple, a nice fence to let people see out, and not feel crushed between 2 buildings. [T]http://i.imgur.com/ecKa4Tt.png[/T] I also opened this area up a bit more, adding some believably to this collection of buildings.
Quick question: how do I edit items_game.txt to add a new weapon into the game.
OneFourth said he'd be doing a guide but I haven't seen it yet. I assume it's still in the works.
OneFourth said he'd be doing a guide but I haven't seen it yet. I assume it's still in the works.
Also. most of the actual stats in items_game.txt are incomplete or doesn't work.
I'm trying to mod a TF2C server right now with minor stat adjustments (ex. Character move speeds), and I don't know what kind of C++ programming software to download or not to download.

Also, if you are doing minor stat adjustments you don't need a C++ compiler for it, it's probably in some config/script file that you can edit with notepad.
I tinkered around with some variables in my server, and I increased my Bunny Hopping speed, but I can't change character stats, Mercenary's speed and health to be specific.
Go into scripts/playerclasses

Wouldn't mind if this were to replace the Six Shooter's current model once it's finished. Current one is way too cartoony especially with the thin box design and discolored barrel, would likely conflict with the Civilian's main weapon in the future (assuming the plans for a snub nose revolver primary weren't trashed yet) and overall for me personally it doesn't look or feel powerful in-game. It just feels overly generic and bland instead, the cherry on top how it uses the Shortstop's animations.
Go into scripts/playerclasses
That is exactly what I did, but it didnt work, so I am not sure. The directory I have for it is C:\TF2CServer\tf2classic\scripts\playerclasses and simply edited the mercenary.txt. Do I need to edit the .ctx too?
Wouldn't mind if this were to replace the Six Shooter's current model once it's finished.
We already have a replacement model for it in production.
