Here's something to look at Model by Stev, textures still wip
Fuck I need to work on my car
Civilian can now be even more of a rich asswipe :v: (Model looks pretty good so far.)
according to the website you have a giant team, so me and a lot of people expected content a while ago.
Yes the team is big but a lot of us have things we need to do before we can do anything on tf2c. I haven't been able to do anything for tf2c because of how much I have being working at my job currently. Just gotta understand a lot of us have personal things we need to do before working on tf2c, such as school, work, and other things.

I'd argue it doesn't really need an interior (apart from SFM use I guess). It's mainly a map prop right?
Well it's mainly for setting up the "story" of a VIP map, so the idea was that the boot would open up to work as a resupply cabinet if the car is part of the spawning area. Fill it with ammo boxes, health and a shitload of booze, that sort of thing. And maybe if the interior was low enough the door could open for the civilian and drive away if the car is the goal for an area, but that's a maybe. Probably would just be an old school painted on interior for that but hey that's up to badger. It will get a super nice SFM version with all sorts of goodies if that's needed, but that's down the line
should the doors have handles?
I tried three or four different styles, none of them looked right or were cheap. The idea now is that the locks are the kind where you push the keyhole surface in to open the door, so i can combine two details into one while keeping the lines of the car very clean. I thought it worked but if enough people say otherwise i can resurrect the super simple style like you'd find on the pickup truck

[t]http://i.imgur.com/iBa3XUA.png[/t] Isn't much to look at, but it will be. I've got to get used to high-poly modeling. That civ car looks so smooth.
I dont even think he would fit in the trunk.
Wrong [T]http://puu.sh/oQ3zJ/80198dd142.jpg[/T]
Somehow, he reminds me of this picture of the Tucker 48 which featured many "modern" innovations including a rear engine, disc brakes, fuel injection, and a pop-out windshield. Thus the luggage was stored in the front. See also the VW Bug. [t]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i_AovfzNXgQ/TRLdebP683I/AAAAAAABZeo/PebqrtvsVLQ/s1600/5229fa97ea9ed33d_landing.jpg[/t]
Wrong [T]http://puu.sh/oQ3zJ/80198dd142.jpg[/T]
I stand corrected :v:

So how's the Character models? The scientist, Agent, Office Worker, Henchman, Janitor, Security Guard? 'cuz i saw someone using the scientist model

They're so wild but fundamentally 50's americana, nothin' like 'em
So whats with 404s #May19 and iibos name has "4 DAYS", is tf2c about to get an update or am i being hopeful?
So whats with 404s #May19 and iibos name has "4 DAYS", is tf2c about to get an update or am i being hopeful?
You're being hopeful. and you know what we do to optimistics around here
So whats with 404s #May19 and iibos name has "4 DAYS", is tf2c about to get an update or am i being hopeful?
tf2c will not be receiving an update on may 19th
Are you guys reanimating any of the regular class weapons?
The "4 DAYS" in my name is completely unrelated to TF2C. Stop grasping at straws for an update.
The "4 DAYS" in my name is completely unrelated to TF2C. Stop grasping at straws for an update.
"Grasping at straws"? OMG, we are gonna get a straw update! Alright, serious time. I really suck at this. Is there any sign that the Mercenary's body animations have been fixed yet? I am kind of sick of a scarecrow merc and not knowing if it is a sniper or not.
Now that we have payload maps, any chance for an "official" support of "Stop that Tank" gamemode ?
Now that we have payload maps, any chance for an "official" support of "Stop that Tank" gamemode ?
I was actually kinda wondering if there could be official support for VSH that uses the slightly newer Saxton Hale model that's been out for awhile but then I remembered that unless the devs decided to truly neuter Saxton like a dog, the mercenaries wouldn't stand a real chance without tf2's broken unlocks

wow I never knew how good the concept art was for tf2c keep up the good work guys
Now that we have payload maps, any chance for an "official" support of "Stop that Tank" gamemode ?
If we were to support it, I am pretty sure we would have to code it from scratch. I will pass along the suggestion, it seems like a fun mode
It would be really cool to have Stop That Tank as its own thing; it has some issues but IMO most of them are the result of one team being robots (with giants and everything) as part of the gimmick, and the need to reuse PL and PLR maps instead of using custom ones.
guys, what if we had four team payload race
