I believe that the "gun" is the main focus of this picture.

Oh, that's right, it's the Telexmax/BFG/MLG
Obviously this isn't a priority at all with the mod, but inconsistency bugs me, so here's GRN and YLW skins for the tf_birthday party hats.

I thought that was a floodlight when I saw it, still interesting though
Am I the only one to think that the "3.14152965481548243" under the "////TOP SECRET////" is or a cultural reference or some kind of hint given to us?

That's a π (Pi) number.
So does the tape at the bottom of the Telemax gun pic mean anything?

Cool Powerpoint presentation.
How to play tf2classic:
step1: chose a server and connect to it.
step2: discover that every one is spamming the mic and mute them.
step3: discover that anyone can write "woody" in chat and play an annoying sound clip, more than one person can play the sound at once.
step4: leave.

Note that we have no control over community servers; our servers, who are hosted by VaultF4, are still down. We hope to have them back up soon, so players can still enjoy playing the current update without worrying about displeasure from both micspams and 'woody'.

I understand, but the fact that the only available servers are this frustrating to play in is a bit annoying.

Maybe we should all go to VaultF4 and protest.
I apologise for the extended server downtime, it's really out of both our and VaultF4's control.
I would put up a dedicated server that has no retarded plugins and encourage or enforce no micspam, but my internet consists of potatoes and garbage. Honestly, the community servers that are active are just ear cancer, I don't understand why anyone would let them exist.
The best temporary fix I would say is that someone on the TF2C Steam Group makes a dedicated server then announces it or if we all discuss a good time for everyone to jump on the server.
If there was a way to run tf2c server on linux I could easily setup a dozen or more servers in a single day. No cost to anyone.

It literally says in my server's MOTD that you can disable that by typing !sounds and then clicking disable saysounds. After that you won't hear the sweet sound of Woody, only silence.
Next time please give a little more thought into reading the message plastered in your face each time you join a server, it's typically useful information.

I'm fairly certain we do have Linux support.

That's what I keep hearing, but I've yet to see it lol. Any idea where I can get my hands on it? I'm used to using steamcmd to get standard TF2, so I'm not sure what's required for TF2C. Any help would be appreciated.

For a normal TF2C install, you install the SDK Base Multiplayer and then tf2classic via -game. For a dedicated server it is no bit different. Install the dedicated server base, install tf2classic, launch with -game. This is the same for all S2013 mods out there, including Windows dedicated servers.

I have headless linux servers in which to install this on, so I won't have a GUI in which to do this.

You don't need a GUI for any of it. You can do everything with bash and SteamCMD.

Sweet! Is there any sort of documentation on doing this that I can follow for the commands and such? Once I get it installed, I'm good to go with everything else and won't need any assistance. I'm just not familiar with how this works compared to installing tf2 via steamcmd the regular way.

I literally just told you what you need to do. Install SDK base dedicated server, install tf2classic, launch with game param. It's not specific to TF2C in any way.

There are so many options, I'm not sure which to chose. None of which actually mention "SDK" just SRCDS instead?
I feel like PistonMiner just needs to copy-paste a comprehensive "TF2C For Linux" guide every day because this comes up a lot.

Doesn't he just keep explaining what to do and they always fuck it up somehow?
He shouldn't have to explain this so comprehensively, if you don't have enough technical knowledge to understand what he's saying, you probably shouldn't mess with Linux anyway.
Is there a list somewhere for all the mods that were used in TF2 Classic? because i really like that Kritzkrieg skin and some other skins.

Yeah, asking for help with vague instruction totally implies the person that needs the help (and is offering to provide the community with reliable servers) a complete and utter dipshit with no need to be on Linux.
Despite the fact I've ran TF2 servers for about 8 years and have probably forgot more about Linux than most people know. Keep being dismissive you poon.

The only mods I remember being in game are TIP textures, TIP weapon models,, Murphy's fixed sniper hands, fixed bat animations, and civilian was a separate thing originally. There's probably a few other things from the workshop but pretty much everything else was probably just made for TF2C.
