Serious reply tho, our engineer buildable models are higher poly than live TF2 and sometimes when buildings are destroyed for whatever reason (probably all the additional polys) they cause the game to crash.
We've been taking steps to resolve this in the latest build and potentially release a hotfix that fixes it in the live beta.

I'm trying to learn 3D modeling with blender, so for training, i'm making a model of the Henchman.
I've been using this image as a reference for the frontview :

Seeing that sentries cause crashes, would it be recommended to download a low poly sentry model mod to prevent crashing? (if possible)

Yeah, though I believe the UV maps of our highpoly buildings are different so they'll break, and you won't have 4 team skins.

Because TF2 Classic is supposed to add cancelled ideas from the development of TF2 Beta, i think they should add the concept art Demoman who can be a separate class from the Demoman but who has basically the same stats/equipment/etc. like some sort of reskin of the Demoman but who is made in a way that let's people the choice to play between the actual Demoman and the concept art Demoman !

While I kind of like the idea of making concept art classes, it would take a hell of a time to make models for them or take older ones and recolor them. If we were to add them in, I would say they would be a customization/enabled random chance for the character to have a concept skin. But one of the primary elements in TF2 when they were developing it is to have all off the characters quickly recognizable, even when they are silhouetted, so making new characters with current models can confuse people.

For some reasons, i agree and disagree at the same time with you because even if TF2 was made to make every classes recognizable, i think that a concept art Demoman is enough different to be recognizable and a white Demoman (the model that i just shown change only the head) resemble enough to the actual Demoman to be recongnizable as well as you know... a Demoman !

This tool has been cutted from TF2 for a reason.
It removes the biggest counter of the spy ; Pyro.
Plus it's some real big bullshit against pyro who will be worse.

hey you guys, a made a death match map over the past few days which i call 'dm_maize_a1'. i would put in a download link for the map, but i don't exactly know how. so if anyone would kindly tell me so, that would be great,
anyway, here is a birds-eye view of the whole map. since this is pretty much the first death match map (or any map for that matter) i have publicly released. so if it appears to large or too small, please let me know

Here is an image of what you can see is a good view of the general area of the map. (which now that i think about it is a bad screenshot because the view of the ground is blocked off by a wall) and as you can see, it will be a farm-based level, but i haven't decided on whether it should be day or night, but i am open to suggestions.
