Does anybody have any idea if the exploit works in GoldSrc games like CS 1.6? I feel like those games would be left unpatched and I would be kind of worried to ever play them again if that's the case.
Map exploit - Maybe. but this shouldn't a issue unless you like unknown custom maps.
Soundspray exploit - Do they even support sound sprays?

I'll be signing autographs in my trailer if anyone wants priceless works of art.
After valve fixes the exploit we can start up our servers?
I'm not sure if this hasn't already been pointed out but: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/source-sdk-2013/pull/334
Why hasn't this been pulled?

Because Valve is apparently too lazy to press one button even when I already did the work for them.
I imagine Valve would have to verify the fix though for theirselves before making any changes, for safety purposes.
That's correct, but typically test structures for this are already set up and are run on every build, testing in a modern environment is a mostly automatic procedure. Unless of course Valve didn't set Unit Testing up, in which case, well, I see how Source engine is bugged like hell.

He did it for comedic effect. Also: the guy who submitted that fix.
Does anyone have any documentation at all about aim matrices and how they work for TF2 compiling?
can we see about getting muzzle flashes that look like this? http://tf2.gamebanana.com/sprites/5411

I think they have a console command that does a similar effect.

It's in options now, I think it's called Model Muzzleflashes. Not the same, but it looks a thousand times better, since it's the beta muzzleflash effect.
doh sorry i forgot about those

iirc, they also have a toggle button in the Options menu or Advanced Options menu.

Alright, I'm thinking this is about done, what does the general public think?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/JPmqqWc.png[/t]Alright, I'm thinking this is about done, what does the general public think?
the randomly concave to cone seems pretty jarring at the end of the barrel. maybe something more interesting there? possibly expand the rings more to look like wire on actual coilguns and railguns. maybe something like the copper wire on this barrel of an unfinished one[t]http://www.coilgun.eclipse.co.uk/images/prototypes_pages_images/general_diagrams/optical_triggered_full_2.jpg[/t]
I'd recommend just getting rid of the Kritzkriegy bit if you're going to make it such a small part. It looks odd now, and makes it a lot more complex than the other weapons.
edit: go with what onefourth said, just make the whole barrel coils ending in a normal gun barrel

It's greatly improve!
One suggestion I would make is to make the coils a larger part of the gun.

Is this Dr. Magnusson pre-cascade?
Whoever voices that guy definitely needs to have water-cooler office chat as lines.

Speaking of VAs, I'd gladly send a demo reel whenever it's needed.
So is espionage still just TTT? Seems like a hell of a lot of work to just be basically porting over a gmod gamemode if so.

I really like the grip and trigger on this one, but I kinda liked the barrel of the older one. And I'm not too big a fan of that sharp corner of the trigger guard.
I cannot believe "The Yiffy Fox" is still permabanned for being framed, this proves that Garry and Gabe are too slow at fixing things and should get a reality check soon.

It is a sad day today for Valve and it's customers (at least until compensation happens.) I haven't played on Steam since before the exploit.
